LUDOVICO TREATMENT - one of the Rochester NY's best and most influential bands to emerge from the late 80's/early 90's "hardcore/punk" scene. The band, featuring Tod Wirschem on bass, pat Dougherty on lead vocals, Nick Anderson on guitar, and Felix Anderson on drums, started out as JOHNNY AND THE GARBAGE CANS, then JOHNNY GONZ, then ELMER FUDD'S GUNN(E.F.G.), and finally settling on LUDOVICO TREATMENT, as their music became more progressive, more heavy, and weirder. The group finally split up into two groups, BIG HAIR and bENT!, both bands eclipsing any success their former band may have had. LUDOVICO TREATMENT reunited for a few shows in 1991 and these recordings are from the rehearsals on 5-17-91
