Night's Energies

I sat down at my piano and started playing some chords. I created a short melodic scale and fit it into the beats, forming the foundation of "Goodbye." Then I went to the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and recorded this base, adding a drum loop to guide me (which I later removed and built the percussion from scratch). I added some guitars and the bass. When I listened to what I had created, I liked a small melody... I took that melody and placed it in various parts of the song, like a leitmotif. The guitars then supported that melody, creating harmonies. I loved the result. I would dare to say it's something completely new compared to what I've done in LOFI, with a strong focus on melody. However, it still carries my essence, that warmth and tranquility with some hints of nostalgia. The title "Goodbye" fits well. I chose it thinking of something romantic since the song also has a touch of romance. "Goodbye" could represent a moment of separation, not necessarily the permanent separation of a couple, but rather temporarily parting ways from something or someone one loves or cares about.

Esta cancion habla de la primavera pero también del romance. Es lo que puedes leer en los ojos de tu enamorada, es como si una primavera estallara en sus ojos. QUe mejor nombre para la cancion entonces ("La primavera en tus ojos")

This song talks about spring but also about romance. It's what you can read in your beloved's eyes, it's as if a spring explodes in her eyes. What better name for the song then ("Spring in Your Eyes")

I´ve been waiting

Proud to present my track Serenity off the latest Legacy of Thought release Interstellar Engines.  This album features tracks by several very talented artists, all portraying their favorite spaceship(s) from movies and/or TV shows.

Serenity is based on the spaceship with the same name from the sci fi show Firefly, and since the music in that show has some cowboy/western elements to it, I though I'd feature an acoustic guitar sound next to the obvious electronic elements, to get a bit closer to that cowboy/western feel. I hope it worked!  Enjoy!
