🗯🗯 Is there positive developments you recognized during the pandemic? 🗯🗯

That nature has recovered a bit while we have stayed at home. It seems like the earth has gotten a well needed break from all the air traffic population and the air has gotten cleaner. A few years ago I was really shocked to realise there were no bees and rarely no insects in my little garden house during the summer. But last year I spotted a few and it made me hopeful.

🗯🗯 Did you gain something positive from this time with Corona? 🗯🗯

A well needed break with a lot of time offline. 

🗯🗯 Did your approach on creating music change during the pandemic and did it maybe even influence your style? 🗯🗯

I have been more focused on ambient music and I'm looking forward to share my journey with you later in the year.

Manchmal halten wir Dinge eine gewisse Zeit lang zurück. So wie die Area51 UFOs, die deutschen Behörden eine lückenlose Aufarbeitung rechtsextremer Strukturen in verschiedenen Organen oder Muri unsere Kopflampe.

Jetzt aber der Leak: Lueasa hat uns vor einiger Zeit 'n Set aufgenommen, das es in sich hat. Ein anonymer Mitarbeiter hat sich das Tape in die Socke gesteckt und droht mit Veröffentlichung. Dem kommen wir aber zuvor. Ha! Ihr müsst es euch unbedingt anhören, sonst verpasst ihr was.

Heute präsentiere ich euch ein wunderbar trippiges Set von der fantastischen Dänin Ida Daugaard. Ida begeistert mich schon seit einigen Jahren mit ihrem ganz speziellen minimalistischen und doch trippig-groovig verspielten Sound.

Wie so viele Künstler hat es Ida in die Techno-Hauptstadt Berlin verschlagen. In Berlin ist Ida in fast allen Clubs regelmäßig anzutreffen --- Ihre Lieblinsclubs sind aber das Hoppetosse, Beate Uwe, Club der Visionäre und sie spielt auch liebend gerne zur Afterhour im Kater. Aber Ida hat sich schon in ganz Europa in die Herzen der Tänzer gespielt --- ob Zürich, Hamburg, Zuhause in Copenhagen, Amsterdam … Ida Daugaard ist ein gern gesehener Gast. 

Im November haben wir uns dann mal zufällig im Beate Uwe zu Beate Barfuß getroffen und haben uns gleich 2 Stunden voll verquatscht. Da hab ich sie auch gleich gefragt ob sie mal eine Podcast für mich machen will … „na klar für Elektro Uwe ist mir das eine Ehre“. Mit „Deep Thinking“ präsentiert uns Ida hier einen groovigen und doch super trippy verspielten Mix den man wunderbar in Dauerschleife hören kann.
