October’s edition comes from Molac.

Ecuador based Molac is a uniquely talented individual. With releases on labels such Watergate Records, Amulanga and Musique de Lune.  He recently remixed LOST founder Elliot Moriarty’s track (on Songuara), which found itself hitting the number 1 spot in the top 100 releases Beatport chart. 

His take and approach to making music is something admired by many, enabling him to team up with Organic House masters Gorje Hewek and Eduardo McGregor on previous projects. 

Support from the likes of Hernan Catteneo, Modd, Arina Mur and are regular occurrences for Molac, and we’re delighted to have him put together this mix for us.

Chilean-born DJ/Producer SIMPLY CITY began his music career embedded in clubs and raves in his native city of Santiago under the alias Cesar “Bass” Romero. After developing a reputation as one of the most in-demand DJ’s in his home country, he left Chile to begin touring across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and North America in the pursuit of launching his international DJ career spending many years travelling and touring the world.

It was Montreal, however, where he decided to root himself after much time abroad. Here, he gained a coveted spot as a resident at Montreal's world famous Stereo Afterhours, where he’s been engaging crowds and developing his sound for over 10 years.
Stereo’s globally recognized sound system, acoustic space, and dedicated club-goers gave Cesar the opportunity not only to apply his breadth of experience as a career DJ, but also to explore a variety of new musical territories. At Stereo, Cesar never fails to flex his mixing skills to an audience of “stereo-heads”; always taking them on truly sonic and atmospheric journeys through his music. Whether opening up the room for some of the biggest names in the industry or taking over the space for an “all night long” set, his mastery of tight mixing and careful track selection have garnered him respect both locally and internationally. Outside of DJing, Cesar has released several tracks on some of the most well-renowned progressive house labels; ultimately putting himself on the map as one Montreal’s most recognized progressive house producers.

SIMPLY CITY continues to play his music beyond Canada’s borders, and consistently delivers his infectious Stereo flare to audiences across the world.

Luferc is a fresh face in the world of DJing, driven by his love for captivating and mesmerizing sounds. His passion for underground deep and melodic, organic, progressive house music fuels his journey toward becoming a well-known DJ.

Luferc's musical journey commenced in the mid-2000s when he became enamored with electronic dance music, especially trance music. This pivotal moment occurred when a close friend gifted him the CD album bit.ly/DJ_Tiësto_Live_at_Innercity_1999_FullSet which proved to be a transformative experience for Luferc. He describes it as a "heavenly aha moment" that made him dream and feel as though he were walking on clouds while fully awake. It was at this transcendent moment that he realized electronic dance music had uncovered dimensions of his consciousness that he could not ignore but instead chose to explore even further.

Luferc is highly committed to honing and mastering his craft through his monthly podcast, titled "Deeply Melodic Journeys," in which he aims to spotlight what he deems as the grooviest and most enchanting tracks in organic and progressive house.
