Marco, known as TRAFFK, is an electronic musician and passionate vinyl collector originally from Italy and now based in the Netherlands, where he's injecting fresh energy into the techno scene.

His journey into electronic music began in 2007, quickly developing into DJing and organising raves alongside like-minded enthusiasts. Since 2012, he's built a solid reputation through club residencies and diverse musical projects, contributing significantly to the local scenes by cultivating community spaces and enhancing their unique musical identities.

With a precise ear for foundational techno, TRAFFK crafts DJ sets that push boundaries. He blends drums and percussion-driven rhythms with crunchy 4x4 beats, locked grooves, breakbeats, and dynamic fader cuts.

Recorded entirely on vinyl, this mix embodies the warmth, imperfections, and authenticity unique to the format. Each track is thoughtfully selected to create hypnotic rhythms, deep grooves, looping patterns, and moments of space and reflection. It's a seamless journey full of raw energy and nuanced details, designed to unfold with each listen.

More than just a mix, this recording represents TRAFFK's sonic manifesto—a personal exploration of techno that bridges tradition with innovation.

Premiere: Maōh — Red Sun [PI07]

Hailing from Potsdam, Germany, we welcome Rill for Podcast #247. The DJ/producer is co-head of the Berlin-based techno label MITSU2000 and @syntop_kollektiv .

With a sound deeply rooted in early 2010s techno, Rill has quickly become a standout figure thanks to his sharp track selection and highly praised productions. With a recent feature on Rødhåd’s fabric mix and a strong discography of his own, he’s shaped a distinct style of brain-melting machine wares paired with precise use of synths and FX. Proper timeless, functional techno that just works.

On #247, he nods to the stripped-back, raw energy of the early 2010s. A delicate balance between synthetic textures and mechanical drive.

Vault Sessions #247 - Rill

I dont often share recordings from my longer club sets but Open Ground is somewhere i instantly felt comfortable and I enjoyed these 6 hours so much that I felt compelled to share them with you.

Hands down, one of the best, if not THE best soundsystem in the world right now! If you ever get the chance to experience it, don’t miss out.
