This is a "remake" of a recording I made in 1986 for a supposedly "YJM contest", I originally recorded on one of those Tascam tape recorders and sent to the local representatives of the contest. Unfortunately the judges thought it was a fake and dumped me from the contest on the grounds that "We've never seen anyone playing like that in Puerto Rico" (this was 1986) and I lost the opportunity to get a grant to study in GIT. Such is life! I tried to re-do it as closely as I remember, if it sounds infantile and old fashioned, well...it is. This was composed almost 35 years ago, so bear with me.

2 minute fire

This piece was recorded while I was recovering from an renal calculus episode(yeah, it hurts pretty fakn bad) and I came up with the name reading the diagnostic of what has came out! Also made on the Boss mini studio and real Marshall amp all cranked up in my closet full of blankets to tame the sound, all with a 57 inside.You can notice the difference to the last solos, those were made with the inboard tones.
