This is track #2 off Tom Misch's "Beat Tape 1" album and the name of the song is 'in a special way' this is just me playing over it. I love this song so much along with so many other compositions from Tom.

"In a Special Way" Ft. Luigi Arredondo

Here's a composition I produced inspired by the many great human beings who have fallen from earth to the after life due to coronavirus complications of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is an original production I wrote when thinking of how long I've been lonely. A lot of people take advantage of being single - they'll finally have all the time to themselves, won't have any restrictions on what they can or cannot do, make their own decisions and don't have to rely on anyone else, it's pretty liberating...until it's not anymore. I was one that did take advantage of my single life for a while but after the 1st year for me...it just got harder as the years went by so this is a song about the emotions and thoughts I've gone through while being single and lonely for so long. It's sometimes a good excuse to stay busy so you don't think about it so often but when you see a beautiful couple and you can tell the genuine love between them you just can't help but feel like you're missing something in your life even if you're as happy as you thought you could be.

Everything was written, produced, composed, and mixed by yours truly except for the drums. Professor, Lumpkin killed it on this recording for me. If you haven't checked out his albums, do yourself the favor! Amazing professor, musician, drummer and most importantly; human.

"Its Been Too Long"

This is a short production I did for my mother due to the fact that she absolutely loves this tune and I felt it would be sweet to record this for her so she can always listen to it. I think it came out pretty good myself so enjoy autumn leaves in g minor in a latin feel.

"Autumn Leaves"

This is an original inspired by a self conversation on trying to, no joke, ask a girl out. I was fighting my inner insecurities about whether I'm 'good enough' or 'in her league' in order to even approach her and ask her out. Needless to say, I pussied out and didn't do it and it made me so upset I just wrote a song about it. Fun - actually not so fun - fact, I still struggle with this till this day. This song was also inspired by my efforts in trying to lose weight and 'do it right' this time, which to me meant, little to no cheat days and just trying to stick to a 'non-diet' diet in which I can eat whatever I want but have the discipline to workout daily and all that jazz. Saxophonist, Drummer, and Composer Luigi Arredondo is a contemporary jazz musician from Miami, Fl. He has received his Bachelors in Jazz Studies and Music Performance from the University of North Florida under the direction of Todd Delguidice. Luigi will be releasing his debut in the summer of 2023.
