Dear friends and family, it was my absolute pleasure to work on this cover of Flume's 'Never Be Like You' with my extremely talented orgmates Alexandra Martin, Bianca Isabel Henares and Monica Pontejos! Their vocal work on this collaboration was absolutely incredible and I enjoyed every minute of working with them. :) It was a little out of my comfort zone to record and produce a cover with a more choral-style of vocal arrangement, but I'm so very proud of the end result! Put together a sweet little instrumental last night that combines alot of my nostalgic favorites: lo-fi hiphop elements, blues guitar (that I got to play on a beautiful MIA polar white strat my friend let me borrow), an ambient recording that I took at the peace park in Hiroshima, and a highway film photograph my grandfather took in 1964.

Such a massive fan of this tune, so I had to try putting my own spin on it one evening. Layered the original vocal with some light chords, guitar work, drums, and an ambient recording from a recent trip to Hiroshima. Shout out to Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ign, this song is fantastic.
