Pretty much all of us know the movie “Inception”, right? Habischman wanted to create a song following this concept so when he bumped into Brydon Hulse from Skymachine they got into the studio and magic happened.

A Dream Within A Dream was recorded in London with a HA-872 microphone and mixed with an old analog desk, giving this characteristic sound to the song, after a 1-hour jam between Habischman and Brydon. Isn’t this magic?

Remixing this gem, Edu Imbernon in an unexpected journey to the 80’s sounds blended with flying melodies and a huge breakdown.

Aera is the second name for remixing. He loves the idea of dreams within dreams. Actually the idea of the main synth sound came to his mind one morning while waking up. It was only a matter of recording it!

Closing the release, a special 4/4 edit of the original for the late-night sounds lovers.

I've always been drawn to the vastness of the cosmos, the endless possibilities that lie beyond our perception. Terminal Horizon: The 7th Gate is a sonic exploration of this fascination, a journey through the depths of techno that's both exhilarating and introspective.

Imagine a dark, industrial landscape, punctuated by the rhythmic pulse of machinery. Now, imagine that landscape merging with the ethereal beauty of distant galaxies. This is the sound of Terminal Horizon. Each track is a carefully crafted tapestry of deep bass lines and intricate percussion, designed to transport you to a state of trance and wonder.

From the pulsating rhythms of "The 7th Gate" to the ethereal melodies of "Absolute Hole" every track on this album is a testament to my passion for electronic music. Absolute Hole

For REC008, we have the honour of showcasing an exciting artist from Switzerland: Manuel Moreno. Manuel has been active in the scene for many years, with releases on labels such as Ritter Butzke, Amaeo, Hive Audio and Kamai Music. In addition to being an active resident at Hive for over ten years, he is well-known for creating iconic brands such as his event series 'Au Revoir' and co-owning the agency 'Send Return'.

His two-track EP 'Elysian' highlights his diverse range of sounds. The title track impresses with a steady groove, captivating chord stabs, and layered synths that demand attention — the perfect closing track for any set. 'Swedenborg', on the other hand, reveals his darker side. A hypnotic, rumbling foundation is elevated by the magnificent voice of Natasha Waters, resulting in a track that will shake dance floors.

To round out the release, two exciting producers join the Reconsider roster. For the main track, Predex, a promising producer from Istanbul, gives 'Elysian' a melodic yet groovy touch. 'Swedenborg' is reinterpreted by none other than James Harcourt, who transforms it into a dark, tribal dancefloor belter with his signature progressive sound.

After a strong Truesoul debut last September, Oscar L returns with a triple dose of groove. 

We got our first taste of Oscar L’s talents when he dropped the excellent ‘Konfusion’ EP in late summer 2018, a triple threat of ‘90s inspired house, punchy peak-time tech funk and the Spaniard’s skillful drum work highlighted throughout. As the weather starts to turn in our favour, it’s time to welcome him back to the clan for round two with his ‘Multiplayer’ EP.

The work kicks things off with ‘Monster Tube’, a deep roller that sees chunky percussion rub shoulders with dizzying arpeggiated melody lines. The EP’s title track follows, a cheeky vocal sample bringing verge and energy to the groovy bed of drums that sit beneath. ‘Primewire’ rounds out the triumvirate of tracks, working superbly as a functional and energetic DJ tool.
