Who better than DIAL stalwart Efdemin could wrap up the year on such a distinctly class-act type of note? Probably no one. He who’s become an absolute gem trader over the years through a string of epoch-making efforts, including the time-proof masterpiece that is “Decay” in 2014, drops by to grace us with a mesmeric Xmas tale by way of waving goodbye to 2022. Extruding elements of techno deepness out their usual cast to mingle them with that exploratory, jazz-inflected approach of his - subtly pairing the lingering beauty of stretched-out synths with that of free-flowing 4x4 grooves and haunting melodies, Efdemin entices us on a path of delectably focused and flavourful techno sensibility. An absolute pleasure and honour for us to round off 2022 in such good company.

Have you ever wondered what the soundtrack for a long distance meteroid travel would be like? Well, fr. JPLA just introduced us to exactly that: A sonic venture that could have its origins in guiding a flying, solid object out of space, where it glides majestically through the sheer vastness until it hits Earth's orbit at a higher acceleration, leaving a colourful streak of light for us to marvel at.

fr. JPLA got to know electronic music, when she was 20, traveling to nearby nightclubs and parties in larger cities with her friends. While others preferred dancing to Monika Kruse, she found herself more and more drawn towards the Schranz-floor. Although back then she hadn’t yet entirely grasped the importance that techno music would play for her in the future. At 24 she got hooked on Homo Elektrik, a party-collective from Leipzig, and her girlfriend at the time animated her to try out dj-ing. She bought herseld two Technics mk2, that she still owns today, got gifted a Gemini technomaster, and acquired herself a Vinyl bundle in 4/4 time. She soon discovered that Techno is such a multifaceted genre of music that she decided to stay faithful to it ever since. This dedication has borne fruit over the years. You can hear her sets at venues like Institut fuer Zukunft, where she also holds a residency, Distillery, Berghain or ://about blank.

For this podcast, she has taken us into the deeper and more hypnotic part of her record collection and crafted a versatile, evolving mix that never loses its cosmic undertone due to the minimalistic but trippy sound aesthetic, paired with the typical vinyl warmth. Definitely a special sonic experience with high absorption potential!

For the 27th Resilience podcast, we are releasing Claudio PRC's DJ set recorded at the closing of a Resilience Night on November 18, 2023, at Nouveau Casino in Paris.

Creating sonic bridges from the literal, perceivable world into mythical, imaginal realms is what Sardinian-born and Berlin-based DJ and Producer Claudio PRC might be best known for. Instead of using extravertive elements, he enhances the overall experience through a wide-screen appeal, playing with spatial awareness through details and taking the audience on a journey into the all-or-nothing of sound. So far Claudio PRC has released on Prologue Music, Semantica Records and most recently Delsin Records. He is the founder of 012, a label andcurated night held in several places across Europe, where he focuses on collaborative work with connected producers and visual artists. Like in everything he does, a Claudio PRC DJ set is a meticulously sewn journey. This makes him a key protagonist in the emerging world of hypnotic techno, playing regularly at an international level at the most reputable festivals and clubs.
