Hot Digits Musics annual compilation has arrived just in time for the summer! As usual it’s another all EXCLUSIVE dive into the world of underground disco, Balearic house, slo-mo burners and deep chugging vibes. From the yacht rock stylings of Shalvoy building up with deep grooving slo-mo from Even Funkier, Ben Jamin and Pete Ellison taking us into nu-disco territory with new tracks from stalwarts Andy Buchan and Stephen Richards. Hot Digits also welcomes some superb work from DJ Laurel, Mannix, Prisma Deer, Ben Banjo-Field, Solazz and Lup Ino alongside staple contributors Fingerman, Ian Upfold, Chewy Rubs, Fray Bentos, GMGN, Groovemasta and Down Under Disco along with some old faces making their return to the label with JB Dizzy, Raw Artes, Pete Le Freq, Oldchap and P-Sol all in residence. Deep action from Jisco Dazz, Dexter Jones, Sauco and some Frankie Knuckles inspired lushness from Juan Moreno before ending the compilation with jackin disco house bangers from Brightons enormously talented Barney Osborn and regular on the scene C. Da Afro. Jet Boot Jack then collaborates with Barry Isaacs and Deemas J for the huge Groove Armada esque reggae house monster that closes the compilation in fine style! 
There’s definitely something for every floor here from warm-up to roof raising peak time so dive in and don’t forget….

It’s a big pleasure to invite Mark Doyle to mix the episode 250 as he had been a big inspiration for many professionals like me. Mark created HedKandi in 1997 and it was his choice of artwork, music and presentation that succeeded in distinguishing the brand from other house music labels. Mark had previously run the Jazzfm compilation label and after much success was asked to come up with a new concept that the listeners might relate to and purchase. Mark produced an album that he would want to buy, It had to have great music, stunning packaging and a unique look, it was here that HedKandi was born. Another key element of the Hed Kandi experience were the many branded parties that commenced with a hugely popular night at Rouge in London. The parties were soon appearing worldwide and Mark recruited a team of DJ’s to help headline the events. These DJ’s included Matt Collins, Mike Van Loon, Eric Kupper, Stonebridge, Hatty Lovehearts, Andy Norman, John Jones & Craig McGivern. The events became even more popular after Mark chose EL Divino to host their amazingly successful weekly party in Ibiza. Mark also successfully picked a number of club and chart hits from artist projects he signed to the label. The first artist projects included albums from Afterlife, 45 Dip and Anthea plus singles from Lazy Grace & Fuel.The label enjoyed huge success with the Stonebridge album project which produced two top 10 singles and another top 30 single. Mark also signed Peyton, LNM Project, Late Night Alumni And Solu Music Feat Kimblee.

Luis del Villar is one of Barcelona and Ibiza’s musical gems. With over 30 years in the music business, he began spinning in various clubs around Barcelona in 1985. In 2010, Luis del Villar began a series of successful nights in Barcelona, which was the perfect backdrop to the already sexy house sounds that he had been known to entice audiences with. His regular residences in the city included Pacha, Buddha Bar, Oshum, Catwalk, Roxy Blue, City Hall and a list of other well known venues. 

Now playing all around the world in the most exclusive clubs and private parties thanks to his global known podcast “Ibiza Sensations”. His sessions have more than 50 million downloads since 2010, making him the most listened Spanish dj in the world thru podcasting and considered a “must see” Dj in the international scene with his silky and sophisticated sound of luxury. Number 1 on iTunes in more than 20 countries and the only one Spanish dj in the USA and UK iTunes top 100 regularly. The podcast is also air played in up to 100 radio stations around the world from Russia to Philippines, USA to South Africa, Spain to Brazil.

During the winter season he had been resident dj at Eclipse Bar inside the iconic W Hotel in Barcelona and played in w venues around the globe. In Ibiza he had played at well known places like Ushuaia Beach Club, Km5, Bora-Bora and Pacha Ibiza, but from 2013 to 2018, Luis hosted the “Ibiza Sensations” party at O Beach Ibiza in Sant Antoni de Portmany, one of the most glamorous beach clubs from the white island and also plays at some special events where is invited. During summer he had been also playing at different festivals, including Tomorrowland in Belgium, the most important one, being one of the few Spanish Djs playing there in the 2015, 2016 and 2017 editions.
