Up next, we have Luis Bravo’s Brise Remix. Fresh off the back of his Funk Flash EP, Luis returns to Piston with more deep house goodness. On the remix, we’re treated to a smooth, deep groove, thanks to mesmerizing chords and a solid, rumbling bassline. Subtle melodies creep through the lower frequencies as a tight, infectious drum section keeps us moving.

Luis Bravo is the artist behind Yin EP and, once again, what a wunderfull job he made here! Three tracks are making the package: The "Original mix", the "Original 6am Mix" and the "ELEME3NT Mix". "Yin" is the other part of our already released "Yang EP" from Luis, so you will find some similar approach here: An outstanding groove and a chord that goes on and on making the mood. The Original 6am mix is a more "darker" version of the main mix. At last but not least, we invited our artist ELEM3NT to make his magic with a remix for "Yin" and what an hell of a work he made! A lot of influence of Detroit techno, a very powerfull groove but with the subtile chords, so characteristic from the original mix! Well done ELEME3NT!

Luis Bravo is back at Piston Recordings with the fantastic 'Just One More Time'. We've always had a solid connection with Luis, it was back in 2016 when he delivered his 'Bubbles EP' which was very well received indeed. Since then, he has continued to impress with his unique brand of quality music on various labels. Thanks to his understanding of sounds he can move between genres with quality always at the forefront. A formidable artist who offers a wealth of experience, we're always happy to see him here.

'Just One' gets us underway, opening with a punchy 909 kick drum and bright, crispy hi hats. A warm, inviting pad rises up in the background before a lush, probing bassline dominates the groove. Spritely chord hits take us to the mid-section. Soft melodic phrases lead us to the break where the drums disperse and we're left with an ethereal sequence before the main groove returns for the final act. Concluding the release we have the companion piece, 'More Time' which carries the vibe on opening with those punchy 909's which are surrounded by sharp claps and crispy hats. Mesmerizing pads and fluid chords invade the senses as a subby bass controls the low-end. A superb slice that will dominate the dancefloor, no doubt.

We welcome Luis Bravo back to the label with a superb remix of ‘We Can’t Get Enough’. Luis has been an integral part of our music journey since 2016 when he released his highly acclaimed 'Bubbles EP'. From that moment, a strong bond was forged, and his music has consistently captivated our audience. As a seasoned artist with a wealth of experience, we are delighted every time he graces us with his presence. On the remix here, Luis concludes the release with an upfront groove to keep the party rocking. Tight beats laden with punchy kicks and spritely percussions lay the foundation while warm and mysterious pads and chords compliment the forthright spoken vocal. Top-notch and not to be missed.

Portuguese DJ and producer and a Monog firm favourite Luis Bravo delivers his fantastic remix. We last saw Luis back in March with his remix of Kruno Kereta's Ball & Chain EP, although he has shown up on various compilations for Bonzai and on Monog's 5 year celebration - Monog Records 5 Years Side By Side. Always a pleasure getting this guys work in the inbox and we are sure to see much more from him in the future. The remix sets out with a real cool urbanised theme as punchy kicks join crispy hats and a distant vocal that echoes in and out. A lush, warm chord teases us as the percussions start to ramp up the rhythm. The vocals sit perfectly within the sound here and keep you locked on to the narrative throughout. The bass takes all the glory here, a smooth, deep subby pulse that will really shake up the bassbins no doubt. A top notch slice of deep techy house that is a must have track for your collection.

Luis Bravo debuts on Piston Recordings with the superb Refugio EP. We usually see Luis over on Monog Records and he has also appeared on Bonzai Progressive as well as a host of other top labels over the years. We know a lot of things about Luis but one thing always stands out, his creativity and passion for his music. Born in the Azores, he gained his love of music from an early age, focusing on electronic sounds. His music comes from the soul and throughout the years he's gained a solid reputation among his peers and fans with support coming in from all quarters. We're delighted to have him on board.

The Original Mix of Refugio intros with a sublime, warm, deep groove that instantly captures the imagination. A chunky beat is joined by rich chords that ebb and flow with a dominance on the groove. Shuffling percussions add a smooth rhythmic flow as a plucky bass layer fades in. Subtleties in the sound create a dynamic vibe that will rock any late-night dancefloor, a must have no doubt.

Luis is joined by Turin based DJ and producer Francesco Nikolai on the EP's second track titled Onda. Francesco loves to bring an infectious style to his sets which translates to his music. He has a background as a drummer and in 2018 he released his first EP titled Pierdut In Nori which gained great support from a raft of top artists and DJ's. His sole aim is to awaken his listeners so they can express themselves through his music. Great to have him here along with his colleagues. Onda intros with a pacey, punchy kick drum alongside a rising, pulsing pad and crispy hi hat sequence. We're immediately intrigued by what's on offer. The track takes on a darker vibe with a dynamic sound filled with those airy pads, analogue bass plucks and spoken vocal. Deeper basses fill out the sound beautifully and brighter, hypnotic notes add contrast making this an absolute must have for the peak time slot.

Luis Bravo returns to Piston Recordings alongside Dominican DJ, producer based in Costa Rica, Ricardo Argomaniz who debuts here with the fantastic Destination Loop. One thing that always stands out about Luis is his creativity and passion for his music. Born in the Azores, he gained his love of music from an early age, focusing on electronic sounds. His music comes from the soul and throughout the years he's gained a solid reputation among his peers and fans with support coming in from all quarters. This one follows his first Piston outing, Refugio EP and, as ever, we're delighted to have him here. Ricardo has been on the scene for a while now. He started out in the early 2000's as Maha and has shared the stage with a host of top jocks. He also releases on several quality labels and we've no doubt his sound will fit right in here at PR.

First up we have the Azores Mix which is a finely crafted slice of deep house grooves with a smooth, lush vibe, no doubt this one is in tribute to Luis home area. Punchy kicks and crispy hats drive the track as rhythmic percussions get the body moving. Cool spoken vocals litter the sound as deep chords mesmerize alongside a probing bassline. A full-bodied and upfront cut that will not disappoint.

Keeping with the theme of representing each artists home, we have the Costa Rica Mix in homage to Ricardo. Another fine slice of deep house goodness is on offer. Right from the off we're launched into a powerful, grooving monster filled with warm basses and cosmic synths. The groove has an astral quality with an acidic layer that will definitely play to the needs of any serious floor.

We welcome Marcus Raute back to Piston on remix duties. Marcus spends his time between Naples and Berlin where, no doubt, he draws from both cultures to refine his own sounds. He is a player in the modern underground world where he dishes out his brand of all things House and Techno. Here, Marcus eases us into a warm, lush deep groove courtesy of melting chords and a fine rhythmic drum section. Sharp plucky basslines keep the tempo as cool spoken vocals come through while stabby synths add textures. Top notch stuff and a must have.

Turin and Constanta based DJ, producer Francesco Nikolai debuts here with his Dub Remix. Francesco is an artist who loves to bring deep infectious sounds into his sets. In 2018 he released his first Ep which received support from a raft of top DJ's and artists. Currently, he is working for Iconic Torino and is the resident at ESCAPE_TOnight. Great to have him here. On the remix here, Francesco hits us with a thumping kick drum and soft shuffling hi hats patterns that form a tight rhythmic flow. Mesmerizing percussions add depth as wistful pads float by, creating an atmospheric groove. A very understated groove with a powerful draw that will delight many for sure.
