Marco Bailey - Unconstrained Move (Original Mix) [MATERIA]

This fourth release is a special collab release. The first track Petter B has joined forces with two producers from his hometown Gothenburg. John H and M.E.E.O have been part of the Swedish underground scene since they learned how to spell 303 and are both addicted to hardware gear. With their skillful crafting of the melodic parts and Petters feel for drums and arrangement this track was born. It is a melodic monster with a simple yet effective arrangement. 

On the flip side there are two tracks made by Stockholm based producer Kimono. A familiar name to those fond of that Stockholm sound. He has done releases on famous labels such as H-Productions, ISL and BEK Audio. These two tracks are best described as tooly and effective weapons to be used and abused by any DJ wanting to spice up the mix. The two tracks made it in to Petter Bs crate immediately as demos. From that point they went through the same refinement process as his own tracks usually experience. Tweaking the sound and doing some fine tuning after testing it in his sets, something that has become known as "that bond treatment".

The label Bond is the brainchild of Swedish techno DJ and producer Petter B. The concept of the label is “music by DJs for DJs”. The label focuses on releasing tracks that enable the DJ, rather than the producer, to be creative. It is based on that special bond which is created every time a DJ combines tracks, loops and sounds live into something new and unique.

First up is 'Strident' - a raw stripped down techno track that sends us instantly back to the 90’s. Rolling snares and a minimalistic approach gives the track an instant drive and in the combination with the strong and pulsating lead this track will put you on another level 

Second on the release is 'Bounce' - a funky track that will speak equally to techno and house heads. Playfully interpreted chords, vocal snippets and pushing hi-hats are carefully placed and give the track it’s distinctive groove

After the incredible success of Melting Process EP, label boss Markantonio takes the hands on what will be a superlative work and Roberto Capuano got the keys again for the stargate of Techno galaxy. "Free" is an EP made by 3 tracks, first is the omonimus. It's made by a straight bassline, heavy hi hats and shakers, and the vocal sample takes the rhythm very high on the endless synth in background, Techno war is coming. The spaceship is ready to go in the Oblivion of the darkness, a galactic bassline rides on the kick very fast and hi hats are the kinetic force moving everything on and on. The real engine is the ancestral synth that falls on the track as a glorious victory anthem, the imperial vessels are ready for the Techno interstellar conflict. Fight is ending, earth is obscured by a terrifying Eclipse a powerful kick is pushing on the cosmic bassline in perfect collision with the shakers and hi hats. No way to survive, the sharp synth is rising to explode on the crowd to reach the soul of each Techno soldier that lives inside of all. Is finally done the connection between parallel worlds and Roberto Capuano is a gorgeous Techno commander of course. But as always, Analytic Trail is the right platform to bring out astral music.

Sound> Classifying Flores’s sound is a difficult feat, and that is precisely the  point. His personality and experience are present in every track he produces, resulting in a dark, groove driven sound. Luis’s interaction with the machine becomes the listeners’ interaction with auditory landscapes of eeriness, altered states and paranoia. A minimal use of elements results in a rich spectrum of textures and a dark and trippy dance floor pull. Live shows, improvisational in nature, can last anywhere from 2- 5 hours, resulting in a hypnotic exploration of the possibilities of electronic production.

Bio> In the more than 17 years he has been producing electronic music, Luis Flores has not only made a name for himself but has been at the forefront of a movement that made the city of Guadalajara, Mexico, a hot spot for electronic music production and events. At the center of this movement was Nopal Beat Records, a label he ran from 1998 to 2006. At the same time, he also worked with the city’s cultural bureau to produce a string of massive, free public events that could bring electronic music to a wider group of people and provided a stage for local producers.

In 2007, he returned to the studio focused once again in his techno roots which quickly yielded results like his enduring relationship with L.A.’s Droid Behavior or the demand for his live shows.

In 2009 the release of the “Damage” EP on Droid Recordings, established Flores as an international artist with its immediate success, making the charts of artists such as Speedy J, The Detroit Grand Pubbahs and Chris Liebing’s Best 10 of 2009. In 2010, Dietrich Schoenemann’s Hidden Agenda released “Pain + Prosthetics”, an EP which among other things includes a collaboration with Canadian: Vitamins 4 U.

Flores published “Love Your Machine” under the German imprint Micro.Fon the following year. Further exploring the audiovisual aspect of his music, he created the video teaser for the single using J.G. Ballard’s “Crash” as reference and inspiration.

In 2012 he returned to Droid for the release of “New Flesh” which included remixes by label owner Drumcell and CLR’s Brian Sanhaji. This year was also marked by people's interest in his sound with remix requests for legendary names like Jam n Spoon and The Advent.

2013 began with his first collaboration with Berlin based producer Material Object and the release of the “Crowd Control” EP under the Impact Unit moniker for the French label Silent Steps and in 2014 he released “Rituals of Submission” on Detroit’s Blank Code, “Test Pattern” EP in the Spring for CLR and the “Metal” remix for Black Asteroid under EDLX.

He began 2015 with the the release of “43” on Alex Bau’s Credo compilation and with his 3rd release for Droid Recordings, the “Static Forces” EP.

Luis has represented México at the Meet in Beijing, ADE in Amsterdam, Borderline Festival in China, Brussels BEMF, among others.
