Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano have come together to serve up a very personal remix of the hugely influential self-titled classic by Age Of Love. It lands on the original Belgian label Diki Records on August 13th.

Age Of Love wrote and released their most iconic track in 1990. It went on to become a stone-cold dance classic that inspired a whole trance movement that has endured throughout the years. 

The idea to remix 'Age Of Love' started taking shape when KNTXT boss Charlotte was in lockdown with esteemed Italian techno artist Enrico at the end of February last year. As soon as the track was finished, it was played in several live streams and the online community quickly fell in love. The remix bears all the hallmarks of both producers, who between them have a number of Beatport hits and have crafted everything from the darkest drums to the most emotional synths to great effect.

Say Charlotte and Enrico, "It's a very meaningful track for both of us, for various reasons, and it brings back many joyful memories. Remixing such a legendary track was a super fun thing to do, but we noticed how easily and spontaneously we could work together in the studio. We are beyond excited to finally unleash our remix to the world. And this at a time where the world finally seems to be going back to normal. There is no better time for a New Age Of Love. We're ready."

'Age Of Love' (Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano Remix) is a big, driving techno roller. It has heavyweight drums and stripped back percussion which leaves plenty of room for the ionic synth lead and spine-tingling vocals to ring out and really work the crowd into a trance. 

This fantastic remix brings a new perspective to one of dance music's most celebrated and influential tracks.

Airwave returns to Bonzai Progressive with the fantastic, A touch Of Grace. He last appeared here on remix duty for Fatal Error's Angel's Arms which went down a treat among many. Previously, in 2014, he released a lot of tracks on BP alongside Phi Phi and others as well as a raft of cuts on Joof Recordings. Also, in the last few years, Laurent has upped his live appearances having played at gigs across the world from Canada to India and the UK to his homeland in Belgium. A truly prolific artist of this age and we are sure there will be plenty more from this guy.

First up we have the Original Mix of A Touch Of Grace which lives up to its name with a smooth, graceful intro filled with punchy kicks, building percussions and warm sweeping pads. A touch of eastern promise is added with subtle plucked strings leading the way. We are soon wrapped up and totally locked into the sound as a wonderfully rich vocal takes over and captivates while raising the hairs on the back of your neck. The music takes on a progressive trance persona as a driving, chugging bass keeps the energy levels up. Tough and gritty acid lines weave their way through contrasting melodic strings and gated synths. A truly complex structure that melds together beautifully resulting in a definite dance floor destroyer.

The Deep And Dark Mix of A Touch Of Grace is up next and takes us in a slightly different direction. Big and powerful kicks sit alongside a myriad of percussions and provide the intro which builds up with a crescendo into a deep, driving groove.  A superb low end bassline holds the track up perfectly as gritty lines begin to form up all around. An Eastern flavour is evident with those beautiful melodic plucks and captivating raspy vocals. Intensity rises with every phrase and new sounds added that take us further into the groove before a short respite on the break that unleashes more of those sweet melodies. Another epic monster from Airwave that will set floors alight all over.

Reus Calling sets off with a cool drum led intro that sets out a solid rhythm complete with nice chunky kicks. In the background, very subtle, haunting voices can be heard which are soon overlayed by much richer pads and strings. A cool melodic synth comes through and sets the scene for an epic ride into an uplifting progressive journey. This is what Airwave is all about, huge intense sounds that feed off each other and forms into an engrossing soundscape that you do not want to end. Definitely a big floor stomper here, you need this in your box.

Drumcode returns with its 6th installment of the internationally celebrated A-Sides series. Renowned for fostering a shared space between industry tastemakers and rising talent alike, the careful curation that goes into each volume is a fine example of why Beyer’s brand continues to go from strength to strength.

Techno titan Adam Beyer has grown Drumcode into a force to be reckoned with; the label has become synonymous with forward-thinking, functional techno and even after 20 years, Drumcode continues to find new boundaries to push, and ways to solidify its legacy as the world’s number one techno label. 

2017 is no exception, with Beyer’s imprint hosting it’s first stage at Tomorrowland, not to mention the expansion of the critically acclaimed Junction 2 where the Drumcode stage is the centrepiece and Adam plays the key role of festival director. The Drumcode phenomenon continues to grow each week, chiefly fuelled by Drumcode Radio, Adam’s radio show that’s broadcast in 57 countries via 86 stations and to a global audience of 16 million techno fans per week. 

The A-Sides series acts as a perfect vignette of Drumcode’s cutting-edge sound; functional yet inspired techno, all tracks tried and tested by Beyer himself. Vol. 6 continues this tradition with a collection of 16 multi-faceted cuts from a mixture of both emerging artists and experienced label friends. 

The heart-throbbing bass in Amelie Lens’ electrifying piece ‘In Silence’ sets the tone for the dark and dance-floor-ready energy that Vol.6 carries the whole way through. Other standouts include Mars Bill’s rough’n’ready ‘Mohave’. Pulsating and precise, ‘Mohave’ has highlighted many of Beyer’s sets recently as has Wehbba’s monster track ‘Fake’, which fans have been anticipating the release of all year. 

Label-favourites Dense & Pika also feature on ‘A-Sides’ Vol. 6 with their hard-hitting ‘Just a Beat’ and a huge track from Beyer himself who has joined forces with Enrico Sangiuliano to bring us their undeniably infectious ‘Preset Heaven’. 

With many more notable selections from the likes of Julian Jewell, Timmo, Tiger Stripes and Pig&Dan, A-Sides Vol. 6 is another impressive addition to the label’s prolific release roster and a testament to why Drumcode remains at the forefront of the electronic world.
