HWS-PREMIERE: Milko Mancuso - X-Files (X-Files EP) 2025

A short live sketch exploring the possibilities of mixing and inverting gates and triggers. The piece features a bassline and arpeggio from a blend of Make Noise XPO and Mutable Instruments Plaits. Sequencing for both was done with QuBit Bloom and Noise Engineering Numeric Digitalis. The gate and trigger sequencing comes from an Intellijel Steppy, with modulation from a Batumi, and final logic handled by the Klavis Two Bits module.

That main theme captured my attention instantly and stayed close to my heart until this day. During the years of my journey as an artist, I never felt quite capable to make an edit of this amazing piece of music. With the help of my good friend David Trindade (aka D-Maniac) we came to our version of Trip Tonite and we feel that it is an honest reinterpretation of the original. Therefore we wish to share it as a FREE DOWNLOAD!
