Two longtime good friends join forces and discover new paths in the process. Their collaborative project is set to be released on Live At Robert Johnson on July 7th.

After an all-night back-to-back DJ set many moons ago, Cooper and Kasper kept in touch and the idea sprung to life to produce an EP together.  During their remote sessions between Vancouver and Copenhagen, three sonic excursions emerged as shiny timeless pearls from their communal studio in the clouds - three tracks that sound pretty far from most club tunes these days. These virtually born babies represent three different points in time. This could be during an imaginative never-ending party or a long road trip down south as you prefer.

Starting off with the lush Balearic dubbed-out vibes of 17:56 PM that remind us that slow tracks are still important. 02:47 AM picks up the pace and its driving SH 101 bassline brings you toward salvation. The dreamy synths and euphoric atmosphere of 06:13 AM make this a sunrise weapon for any proper summer rave - closing off their EP in a shimmery bliss.

What a beautiful night it was, thank you everyone who came out and vibed with us, this was an amazing auditory journey. Starting off with a great set from the enchanting Tannaz Bassier and then moving over to the uplifting and energetic duo Mumsfilibaba. We were super happy to have you come by us for a spin and what a vibe you two was!

Some background information:
Mumsfilibaba, a dynamic DJ crew and promoter, operates across Europe and Asia, founded by Sebastian De la Cruz and Maximilian Adlercreutz. Whether performing individually or in b2b, their sets radiate a festive vibe, featuring Dreamy Italo, House, Acid, Electro, Breaks, UKG, and Cosmic Disco.

Sharing the stage with heavyweights like Honey Dijon, Eden Burns, and more, they've also spun alongside Romain FX, Storken, and others. Mumsfilibaba leads the music at Tropic City bar, hosting local and global artists weekly, and contributes to the collective, Music Makes Me High (M.M.M.H).

They've rocked venues like Under Bron, Trädgården, Kater Blau, and Mihn 宀 Club, as well as festivals like Wonderfruit and Fly To The Moon. In a nutshell, Mumsfilibaba combines professionalism with a passion for music, at a high level.

Accomplished UK mainstay J1Mi launches the long awaited Beyonders label with a fantastic first EP that captures the eclectic nature of his sound.

J1mi aka James Hadfield has been making all manner of sounds for years - both solo and as one half of Lizards - from house to disco, Balearic to techno, and always on revered labels like MeMeMe, Not An Animal, Leng, Futureboogie and Phonica. He is part of the Beyonders collective that was started by Jason and Mark Goodings of 90’s pioneering breaks and drum and bass duo Hidden Agenda. The collective is now back after a hiatus following Mark's tragic passing in 2016 and is as fruitful as ever with members including James as well as Mal Sharp and Nick Grimes and now a new label.

James continues to host Beyonders Present events in his hometown of Newcastle and has played at the likes of Glastonbury, Stowaway and Pikes this year, as well as across Europe in the past. Luke Una and Man Power are big supporters of his work and this is the first EP from the collective and label, with the following four all mastered and ready to go over the next year.

The brilliant 'Sixes Now' has a menacing synth screwing about the mix before percussive grooves and elastic bass arrive to lock you into a dark disco groove full of menace and suspense. The thumping 'Modern Maze' is another hugely inventive sound with rickety rhythms, erotic vocal coos and wiry synths. A bewitching breakdown brings acoustic guitars and places the vocal front and centre before the punchy house kicks come back once more.
'Desire' featuring Crazy P vocalist Danielle Moore is an indie disco cut with jazzy chords and playful funk riffs that lift the spirits and cruise on smooth grooves. Closer 'Japanese Kipling' is a prickly brew with off-grid hots and vocal sounds, distant hits of melody and dubby rhythms that are wonderfully intoxicating.

This standout first EP very much sets the scene for what is sure to be a crucial UK label.

Gingerblack is the lovely DJ couple Lilly & Sertac Kazan, hailing as „Lilly & Kazan.“ They have been a suscessful promoter duo in Istanbul and Berlin as well, during the last years.

Their Berlin project „Christa Kupfer“ was kind of unique to the Berlin scene when it started in Feb. 2020. They created a real club experience, „family style.“ Their club nights were not about egos, about being „s*x positive“ or anything popular right now. It was purely about sharing good vibes with your friends, or to become friends, through good music and a sense of community.

Through these club nights Lilly & Kazan made friends with „All That Jelly“ label boss Mr. Fonk who became a resident at their club. They also came in close contact with the House music legend Robert Owens who played unforgettable nights for them. It was a match made in heaven!

Now this collaboration comes to life on hot wax: a 12“ of the purest oldschool House Music, brought to perfection by the flamboyant prince of Vocal House and remixed by Wareika member Jakob Seidensticker and his producing partner MELINA.
