This song feels like the arrival of some alien outcast, just trying to make his way through our world. I hope he finds some new friends here and that we treat him like our guest! (It’s up to interpretation but I believe that the ending suggests otherwise.)

As of now, I believe this is the best song I've made, at least from a mixing standpoint. I love the 8-bit sounding bass, and overall, I’m really proud of how this song turned out."

Arrival

This Song is a song I wrote for a theatre my school had. It was supposed to be used as a background track during a monologue but unfortunately I was never used. 

But this song always reminds me of a  feeling I had when I flew from Portland Oregon after having visited for a weekend. I remember that I looked out the window and just felt this light sparkling joy. ❤️

Light hearted

This is also an older song. I wrote ti the same week as near and far 
This was the first time I used a mic to record things! 

I recorded the harmonica, clave, and acoustic guitar played with a slide. I'm happy with the result, and I think it holds up better than expected. 

When I listen to this song I think of imaginary gene manipulated creatures created for war. Like something out of a science fiction movie. Which is why the song is called “Natural machinery” (wow I am such a dork 😂)

My first ever time recording vocals!!! Woho!!

This song is a Ska/2tone track I made for a school presentation. In the presentation, we talked about how bands like The Specials wrote songs about real-life street events/things people could relate to.

To mirror this, I wrote this song about a guy who hates school. 

I recorded the vocals on my Mac's built-in mic the day before the presentation, and then I mixed it on the train to school.

Overall, I like this song, although I think it could use a bit more bass and drums in the mix.

This is a song that I made during a difficult period in my life. I felt numb, and it seemed like I was spiraling into anxiety and depression. I was struggling with my creativity, so I created something that simply repeated what I felt. It took me less than 30 minutes, and it felt as if all the anxiety had been sucked out of me into this piece.

This lion is a busy business boy. He works in strange places and this song is about all the strange things he ses on his way to work. 

This song is not really done but I did not have the time to finish it with is a shame because I got so close!

This is an old song heavily inspired by the band DARKSIDE. I really experimented with the production, and I think I learned a lot from it.

In my opinion, the finished product is nice. The mix isn't my proudest work, but I still love the idea of this song, and it holds a special place in my heart.
