My wife wanted to be my first paying customer as to make me a professional musician. She asked for a heroic sounding theme to represent when her friend Blaze comes to rescue her when she is dead in the hardcore mode of the game Icarus and needs to be rez'd. I've never really written an orchestral piece before or a heroic sounding piece before, so I hacked the matrix as usual. Enjoy

The Rescue

I was comissioned by a fan of CODE: Lyoko to make this track. The story in this song is an alternate ending where XANA has survived to upload himself into an army of protogen bio-mechs (see picture). In this picture he is a DJ in addition to an evil A.I. and he's playing out this song, his song to you.
