Pain Alert’ marks Lukas Ferdinand’s return to the spotlight, after his success on the national radio charts in the wake of his hit single ’High Enough’ winning in Sweden’s biggest national radio contest in 2023. The first single of four from Ferdinand’s upcoming, sophomore album, Pain Alert is set to be the rock anthem of the summer of ’24, with its energetic, sun blazed instrumentals and bittersweet lyrical narrative.

Recorded and mixed in renowned Soundtrade Studios in Stockholm, Pain Alert draws inspiration from 90’s britpop and contemporaries alike, mixing soulful organ kisses and distorted guitars with Ferdinand’s relentless vocal delivery. The lyrics depict the desperate longing for human touch in the weary, drunken hour of the wolf – contrasting the sunny soundscape carrying you across this ecstatic 4 minute-joyride.

Lukas Ferdinand is a Swedish independent artist from Stockholm, Sweden. His genre-crossing songwriting mixes vintage, organic sounds with its origins in old soul/blues/folk and rock music, with more modern sounds influenced by the likes of Hozier, Matt Corby and Amy Winehouse. 

His debut single 'Can't Be the One' was released on 27th of March - one of three singles from his debut EP 'Back to Before' which was released on the 11th of September 2020.

He is now working on his sophomore EP ´Shade of Blue´, which will be released later this year. The first single ´If You Need Somebody will be released on the 7th of May.
