After a couple of months off we're back and kicking off 2016 in style with a special extended 3 hour show.

Our guest this month is Matt Rouse who has given us exclusive access to the second part of his series of Balearic style mixes.  Part 1 (http://www.djmattrouse.co.uk/balearicism-volumen-uno/) was inspired by the eighties Ibiza sound and for his next instalment he heads into the nineties with a Balearic take on some classic acid house vibes. 

We follow that up with some more contemporary sounds in the resident mix.

From the 7th-10th of July, Uone will perform at Noisily Festival - deep in a wood nestled in the heart of Leicestershire's countryside. He will play alongside artists such as Patrice Baumel, D-Nox and Beckers, Third Son and many more. Noisily Festival is an environmentally sustainable one. An escape from day to day life and a hedonistic microsociety which is stated to be void of prejudice.

This adventure starts in the 90’s. Since the first days strongly involved with ambient music and event production, Paulo Dias aka dj high, was Boom Festival ambient area “headman” from 98 until 2012. Co-founder of the mythical Dreamlab – chill out or die!, melts in his sets a huge variety of styles and likes to be seen as a free style dj. On his portfolio also 2 ambient compilations, Ambient Planet vol 1, released by Vagalume Rec and Ambient Planet vol 2, released by Flow Rec. He’s also A member of ZenZen, an alternative culture underground platform based in Tokyo, Japan.

Then from the recent killer EP on Asymmetric I have chosen the Wally Lopez remix of Lonya's 'Righteousness'.
There is also a offering from the break out label of 2017, Beat & Path, with the Niconé Remix to Out Of Sorts.  

I finish the set with two Geist tracks that have just been release this week. Andrea Bertolini - Foliage 1 - Geist Remix on Beat Boutique, followed by Geist - Rise, from the mini album Vines, on Bad Pony.
