Welcome to the WE ARE ONE Podcast Episode 217 with Patty G. from Erfurt/Germany!


Patric Große alias Patty G. who comes from Erfurt in Thuringia, began handling black gold in 1998 at the age of 15 for the first time. At the beginning he was fascinated by wild techno until he gradually developed a feeling for the music, which shaped his own style. His music is strongly influenced by acid house, minimal and Detroit 303, 808 sounds, but he also always knows how to convince with a mixture of bass-heavy deeptech & indie sound.Things went uphill very quickly and in 2001 the label Kopfgeflüster was founded together with Rick Diablo & Dirk Knocks. Numerous parties were successfully organized in smaller clubs, bars and other locations. This is how he developed into a well-known DJ in the Erfurt scene. As an organizer, he organized several series of events, where he pursued his passion as a resident DJ. In addition to Thuringian greats behind the turntables, he also gave the young Erfurt DJs the opportunity to prove themselves.
After a short break, Patty G. is back and I am very happy to welcome him as a guest!

Dj and producer from the Netherlands with Italian roots, the style of Angelo D’onorio (https://soundcloud.com/angelodonorio) is described as tech house and melodic techno with a cutting funky edge. Dj since 1991, he produces since 1994. Angelo is considered as one of the pioneers of the Amsterdam techno scene. Working in the nineties as a resident for It, Mazzo, Paradiso, Awakenings and Welkom to the future and regular spots at Chemistry and Roxy, he received multiple awards as favorite dj at the Golden gnome awards. Angelo's music has appeared on Metrohm, Bakroom, Manual, 90watts, Traum Schalplatten, Music Man, Bosh, Carbon, Mazzo, Circoloco and Fabric London. Angelo is a real music machine freak and builds his tracks mainly around his analog and modular sessions.
