It’s May and you can almost see the thirst for first possible open-air parties in peoples eyes when passing through streets and parks across Berlin. While everyone is closely watching the development and tries to deal with the current situation, life wire and Loser Records co-founder Michal Zietara cannot keep his energy back.

Good opportunity for us to try to channel that energy and give our party boy extraordinaire the opportunity for a one hour long workout in his home studio.

Michal was born in Poland in the mid 80s, before his family moved to the south of Germany. In his teenage years he found his calling in our beloved old friend house music, which reminded him of the rhythms he learned from his father when he was a child. Starting to get a taste of Djing in local discotheques across the south of Bavaria, he became a resident in Ingolstadt's SUXUL club. 

After diving deeper into the nightlife and improving his technique throughout the years, our loser in chief got hungry for more. He finally moved to Berlin to fully immerse himself in the local music scene and found his way into Salon zur wilden Renate, where he soon became a resident.

Michal started working with the team of Renate and touring clubs and festivals across Europe, always priority delivering high energy and good vibes to the dance floor.

Playing weekend in weekend out in different nightclubs might sound exhausting and it certainly is, but Michal was still looking for more ways to express himself.

So it was no big surprise that he immediately got hooked, when he accidentally ran into two fellow Bavarian losers and teamed up with them to co-found Loser Records beginning of 2019. Dropping the label's first successful vinyl release together with buddy Oskar Szafran mid '19, Michal had big plans for 2020, to become his year.

Well sometimes things don’t work out as expected and life can be a bitch, but it would not be Michal, if he threw in the towel that easily.

The Luke Blunton project was born in the midst of college open air partys on the campus of the University of Twente in summer of 2014.
What started as a casual exploration of music has evolved into a deep passion for electronic music of various styles. Luke Blunton has proven himself as a dancefloor facilitator in the Enschede underground scene while performing at events, venues & festivals such as 't Bölke, Gogbot, Itmotr, Metropool, Rico Latino, Sickhouse, Skeefrave, Spacebar and Traumburg.
Since 2020 Luke Blunton is active in the T LAB techno collective as a resident DJ.
Luke continues to refine his style within minimal, house, electro & techno.
