Moonshine Queen is the third single in a series Luke has been releasing, beginning with Most Of The Time. It's a dark, emotional, and cathartic song that was inspired by the industrial and post-punk sounds of groups like Boy Harsher, Depeche Mode, and Bowie's Berlin era. The lyrics describe the breakdown of a relationship through the metaphor of alcoholism, and can be found below.

Strings is about those first few moments of clarity you have when you stand up for yourself in an unhealthy relationship, and how uplifting it can feel to take control of your own life again. 

This song has Gary Zucker on drums, Niels Sorensen on bass, Garrett Frees on saxophone, Sadie Carpenter on whistles, and was mastered by Garrett Edson. All other instruments were played by Luke Frees.

Honeycomb Hotel is the next in a series of singles Luke has been releasing since November, each of which consists of an a-side and a b-side. Noted as "the first optimistic song I've made in a while," the lyrics deal with a metaphorical hotel where you can practice self-love again and get better.

This double single has two versions of the same song: an upbeat, fully-produced piano-rock track in the style of Billy Joel and Elton John; and a "nighttime version," which was recorded in a stripped-back, candlelit session in L.A. with my friend and frequent collaborator, Jack Wakley.
