"Universe (Funk Remix" by Luke Mock & Xavier Sharp was an inevitable collaboration between the two. Combining their love for dance-pop, they molded a Dua Lipa / Calvin Harris inspired funk-pop version of Luke's debut single, "Universe", and it is invigorating.

I created “What You Deserve” after reflecting on a relationship where I wasn’t able to give someone what they deserved due to bad timing and self-discovery. Its upbeat feel contradicts the traditional sad-song vibe. I wrote and recorded all of the parts with my friends using minimal equipment and ambition to create this feeling of upbeat madness and sadness all in one song.

What You Deserve

In 2017, Luke initially penned "Love of My Life." Originally a different title and a duet, it was inspired by his then-girlfriend, celebrating their love. However, the pandemic in 2020 brought unexpected changes. Luke found himself grappling with the end of one of the happiest relationships of his life. While quarantining and reflecting on the past, he realized that the emotions he felt were too intense to ignore. Thus, the song transformed, instinctively infused with the powerful emotions that still resided within him. The lyrics and melody morphed into a tribute to the love that once was, now titled "Love of My Life."

Now, he seeks to unravel the complexities of his personal experiences and perspectives, using the universal language of music and boundless creativity to touch hearts across the globe.
