Hogwarts Legacy is a 2023 action role-playing game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Games under its Portkey Games label. The game is set in the Wizarding World universe, taking place in the late 1800s, a century prior to the events chronicled in the Harry Potter novels. The player controls a student enrolled in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry who learns to wield an array of magical abilities and objects. With the assistance of fellow students and professors, the protagonist embarks on a journey to unearth an ancient secret that has long been concealed within the wizarding world.

Hogwarts Legacy marks Avalanche's first release since their acquisition by Warner Bros. in 2017. The game's development commenced in 2018, while pre-release gameplay footage was leaked onto the internet in the same year. Following its official announcement in 2020, the game garnered significant anticipation. Prior to its release, it attracted controversy due to Harry Potter creator J. K. Rowling's views on transgender people and accusations of including antisemitic tropes, leading to calls for a boycott. Following some delays, it was released on 10 February 2023 for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. It is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One in May and Nintendo Switch in July 2023.

Atlas Fallen is an action role-playing video game developed by Deck13 Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. The game is set to be released for Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and Series S in August 2023.

Atlas Fallen is a third-person action role-playing video game. At the beginning of the game, players can create and customize their own player avatar. The player is equipped with an ancient gauntlet that allows them to manipulate sand. With the gauntlet, players can shape the sand around them into weapons. Players can use three different weapons, though they can only carry two at any given time. Unlike Deck13's previous games, Atlas Fallen is a more traditional action game. Players are required to dodge, counter and block incoming attacks, as well as quickly switching between land and air combat. As players attack enemies, they will gain Momentum. At certain momentum threshold, the weapon the player is currently wielding will transform, and they can unleash a special skill or ability that deals devastating damage to their opponents.

I've had Baldur's Gate 3 for the better part of a week and I'm probably only 1/3 of the way through the game. It's massive, interesting, captivating, and endlessly entertaining. While this is a "Work in Progress" review, I can already say that this is one of the best cRPG's ever made and I can't recommend it enough.

Baldur's Gate III is a role-playing video game developed and published by Larian Studios. It is the third main game in the Baldur's Gate series, which is based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system. A partial version of the game was released in early access format for macOS, Windows, and the Stadia streaming service, on 6 October 2020. The game remained in early access until its full release on PC on 3 August 2023, which will be followed by a release on the PlayStation 5, currently planned for 6 September 2023. The Xbox Series X/S port is also in development, while the Stadia version was cancelled following Stadia's closure.
