Ferry Corsten's track Air under his alias Albion is one of my favourite tracks of his. An incredibly hypnotic melody twinned with that iconic breathy pad line. 

I started originally making a remix of this track all the way back in 2012 on a plane heading to Ibiza. I never quite managed to get it to sound how I wanted it so it ended up on the unfinished pile for years...

That all changed last month as I was listening to some old tracks and playing along when Air popped on, and a few fresh ideas came to me. I dug out the old project and gave it a revamp with some extra melody lines and here we are!

Digging out another gem from our treasure chest, Oblivion is the 2006 power trance monster by Luke Terry. Originally released on Monster Tunes' Monster Sampler Series we've dug the original track back out and given it a faithful remaster to bring it up to date for 2019. 

On the flip side is the Akemi Mix, one of Luke's alises that he was releasing some smashing trancers under at the time. This one never saw the light of day, until now! It's a little bit deeper and darker, but with plenty of energy and of course that massive riff standing front and centre.

Electra by The Digital Blonde (aka Ricky Smith) was always one of my favourite tracks when I first got into trance music. 

I have attempted to remix it many times over the years and never got close to the original so never ever got a project to anything approaching finished, until now...

Over the last few months I have been making a soundset for the Yamaha An1x and replicating some of the sounds from Electra has been part of that journey. So, it seemed like an ideal time to put those sounds to the test and actually try and get a remix of this absolute beast of a track done. 

Here is the end result, I hope you enjoy it. Free downloads enabled. The Yamaha An1x soundset will hopefully be finished soon!
