Next up on our "Guest Mix" is UK talent Luke Thompson!

Luke’s first love of Dance music was Trance, when he first discovered a mix cd that just stuck in his head, the melodies, sounds, and emotions of all kinds just made him eager to find out more about this beautiful sound. The instant connection hit and he took to find out more about the music and this cd.
It quickly led him to a Dutch DJ by the name of Tiësto. 
Luke’s love of the music & passion to share this music began.
Visiting night clubs with friends he would hear a variety of dance music including trance but at this point the Dutch dj he had started to follow was still quite unknown in the U.K.

Unable to hear the music he loved, Luke wanted to share the music and took to learning to DJ himself.
A few years later he got his first chance at a local nightclub.
Being able to share the music and seeing people react to it in such a positive way just made his love grow and from there expanded his journey and started to pick up more opportunities out of town.
As Luke’s gigs grown the growth of Tiësto and his popularity was at a high.
Luke started to travel around the U.K. and Europe following Tiësto to as many shows as possible.
From smaller clubs like Tall Trees in Yarm, Passion in Coalville, to large clubs such as Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Cream.
He went to festivals like Creamfields, Global Gathering. To then travelling to countries such as Tiesto’s homeland of Holland to history making shows like Tiësto In Concert in Arnhem.
The whole time Luke would be a vinyl junkie and would collect all records that Tiësto would play. His vinyl collection would be strictly Tiësto playlisted records. From the 90’s up to 2009.

Luke hopes people can put aside current opinions on what Tiësto may play today & reminisce on the golden years, good times, and the magik journey Tiësto once took the trance family on.
