It was such a joy taking key elements from such a brilliant original track by Judith and translating it into a different style whilst trying to maintain the mood and theme of the piece. At its heart, the original track is about finding hope when all around us seems dark and waiting for our breakthrough in the midst of uncertainty. My remix aims to take the listener on the same journey that Judith narrated but packaged in something more underground; sampling industrial lighting sounds and broken bulbs alongside a minor key change and machine driven, dance orientated production.
