I was tasked to make a piece of music that encapsulated the chemical element oxygen. Oxygen is of course essential to nature and wildlife, which is what the first part of the track represents. I wanted to explore the association between slow breaths and relaxation compared to fast breaths and stress in the second part of the track.

As part of my dissertation and final year portfolio, I researched platform game music and then remade the music from three platform games. This is 1/3, Super Mario Bros. The music I made is clearly influenced heavily by the original music but I did my best to add my own creative flair and originality.

As part of my dissertation and final year portfolio at Bournemouth University, I researched platform game music and then remade the music from three platform games. This is 2/3, Super Meat Boy. These tracks are designed to, if needed, loop indefinitely depending on the player's position within the game, which is why they may finish quite abruptly.
