For us, the beauty about the Future is the endless possibilities it holds. In essence, it's a blank canvas waiting to be painted on. We'd love nothing more than to 'build' and 'make' a Future that's all our own. That means doing everything ourselves from scratch, bringing the hand of the artist back. So as we've been building a studio in the backyard and working on our live show, we wanted to start this new "Future Nites" series of remixes and originals with an eye on creating music for these live performances. We added a marimba to the live set, and can't wait to get some more analog gear into the studio so we can take these Future Beats to the next level.

It's been a fun ride for us putting all our heart and soul into this new project, so we hope this song takes you on an equally epic journey. As summer turns to fall, and day turns to night, we hope that you'll paint these empty canvases of endless possibilities with us. You do it by sharing and blasting music out into the world, with every action you make. It's about leaving your mark on the world. It's about leaving your Autograf. This is Future Nites.

Don't be confused by the moniker of LA party squad Minimal Effort – their events are always finely curated exercises in the darker side of "house and techno." In their solitary year of existence, they've become the go to scene in LA for weirder late night tunage by booking everyone from Daniel Bortz to Audiofly, the Culprit mob, and almost the entire Desert Hearts crew.
This weekend at the Park Plaza Hotel in Koreatown might be Minimal Effort's most stacked lineup ever: Matador, Butch, Andhim, Uner, Modus, Jon Dadon and DAVI will all mob the space, both inside and out. Look at it this way: MINUS, Coccoon Recordings, Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, and Diynamic will all be present in Los Angeles this weekend, and at one event. What more do you need to know? Such a deep and vast array of talent doesn't come along every other weekend.

In celebration and preparation for the gig, Diynamic-releasing artist Uner has put together an hour long selection of tunes to help you get your vibes right in advance.
