Bio:

Alain Pauwels is a progressive house deejay based near Antwerp, Belgium.

Led by a profound love for progressive house music, surrounded by passionate professionals, practitioners and a supportive progressive house family, Alain Pauwels has been driven to share his passion of mixing sublime tracks and to bring joy across all boundaries.

Inspired by amazing deejays and producers such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Marcelo Vasami, Graziano Raffa and many more artists from the Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Lost & Found family and other well-respected labels, Alain has been encouraged on his mixing and sound creation and started sharing his mixes under the PROGRESSIVA concept on Soundcloud.

His dedication to provide uplifting progressive house mixing, with an occasional flavor of deep house, organic house and melodic techno, has eventually been recognized in November 2018 by respected deejays in the Amsterdam progressive house scene which got him in touch with the Proton Radio station. This resulted vastly in clinching his spot in the Proton Radio resident DJ-team hosting his own monthly PROGRESSIVA show which started in March 2019, inviting international dj’s/producers. Apart from the Proton radio show, he is also performing monthly on the Belgian internet radio station XBEAT.

He started to play gigs in June 2019 at private progressive house parties. Alain has been performing as from then frequently at Club NL, an Amsterdam club icon and “must go” during Amsterdam Dance Event. He became resident at the Connecting Souls nights organized by the much-respected Dutch DJ Clay van Dijk. In 2022, post corona, he already shared the decks with Hermanez, Eran Aviner, Madloch, Lost Desert and many more is to come.

As from October 2019 Alain has started producing with French producer Arnold Toutain, which resulted in first release “Ginger Mercury”, available on Nature Rec, being played straight away by Hernan Cattaneo on the Resident show end November 2019. Each release thereafter has been supported by El Maestro. Since 2020 releases are available on Nature Rec and as from October 2021 also on Future Avenue. More releases upcoming.

Bio:
After travelling the world by herself in 2016, Gabrielle aka GABBY comes back home transformed and invigorated. Since she's little her motivation has been to see and change the world. She starts studying humanities and quickly discovers her passion for working with human beings. Helping one another, especially vulnerable people, shaped her into a professional entrepreneur. She learnt that connecting with other souls is what keeps her aligned and what makes us feel alive. In 2020, she decided to create a fundraiser called Sound of CF for cystic fibrosis disease, a chronic condition she's been living with. The fundraiser ( @fkenmusique) has changed her life and the relationship with her illness which is more healthy and positive now. 

Music, dancing and more recently yoga have been part of her healing process and make her a complete artist. Now that she accumulated different forms of expression, she understands the true power of it all. Her motto: looking for that beat that will change the world. Because there is nothing like souls connecting on a dancefloor. Her debut into the music scene is only the continuation of the hard work, creativity and dedication she's put into all her previous projects.

Nick Muir is one of the giants of the UK dance music scene. Nick, and his long term production partner, John Digweed, have been involved with Bedrock Records since its inception. Over the years, Muir has accumulated countless original tracks and remixes, and has DJ’ed around the world. Indeed, last year he blew us away in Winnipeg, Canada with a masterful 3 hour set of melodic techno goodness.

Despite his relative fame, and his successes, Nick Muir is one of the most down-to-earth, and downright loveable people you will ever meet. His humility, wry sense of humour, and his friendly demeanour instantly won us over. We at InstitutionYWG are fortunate and honoured to call Nick our friend.

An avid music listener, producer and sound engineer who's influences originate from the sounds of Charlie May, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, James Holden and other iconic electronic music artists. Luke Duncan, a university graduate in computer science who has been working on his musical career since the age of 17, forming part of the 'Diplomatic Brothers' for over 9 years and worked on subversive genres for different contexts along multiple international artists, labels and local television stations. At the age of 19 Luke started studying computer science and since then he has merged such technical abilities in order to aid in manipulating sounds in his music productions and performances.
