Soooo slick boys! wish i'd thought of remixing this track...even if I had I wouldn't have nailed it like this!

Classic track. I read that there were 42 official remixes out there - now onto my forgive me 'newbiesque' question: when it comes to doing a remix of an artist track is it the same as for a cover eg, permissions needed etc or is there a 'fair use' clause for remixing. I have always held off on dong remixes for not being clear on this - copyright (or wrong) is a mindfielddddddd :D
