Founded in 2019 by Anetha, Mama Told Ya has quickly become a hub for experimentation and artistic expression. It's latest compilation, 'MTY-FEU - "Ils s’embrasèrent, réduits ensemble"' is the first & final opus in the VA's elemental series.

Naarm/Melbourne-based Luke Hovey's contribution to the VA is 'Guilty Pleasure', a track which does exactly that.

'Guilty Pleasure' is about as close to donk as you can get without being donk. Hovey is clearly doing everything he can to make bass face undeniable, a clear demonstration of where much of Australia's modern techno is headed.

'Guilty Pleasure' releases as a single this Friday, March 28, with 'MTY-FEU - "Ils s’embrasèrent, réduits ensemble"' releasing Friday, April 11 via Mama Told Ya's Bandcamp on digital and a limited series of vinyls.
