Music has always served as an escape for me. My goal with these mixes is always the same - to take a journey for an hour that soundtracks that escape. I spend a lot of time trying to make each mix a seamless thought that rises and falls along with an imagined moment in time. There's magic in those moments where you're with someone and the world opens up and anything feels possible. Whether you're right inside of that adventure or just eyes closed in bed dreaming about it, hopefully this can soundtrack your own escape.

After feeling like electronic & pop music was losing its soul, I became a bit nostalgic and started listening through the music that had inspired me over the years while sitting under the air con. This reminded me of the importance of timelessness and originality, something which was a big inspiration in my early stages of production. Being timeless and relevant at the same time is an extremely fine line and I'm sure its a hard one to master. This mixtape is a reminder that music isn’t about hits or ticket sales, it’s first and foremost about making your art and making it special.

So here is a "A Nostalgic Summer Pt. 1" to celebrate some of my favorite timeless electronic tracks and some newbies I hold in high regard.

Paris is a city that holds a special place in our musical hearts.  A lot of our favorite music from classical to modern electronic has come from Paris and greater France.  Paris is a city with a lot of history, and its musical impact, in particular all things French Touch, left a lasting impression on us from an early age.  This mix is celebrating that love, through tunes old and new.
