Disrupta is a name that’s stormed across the Drum & Bass scene in the past year picking up new fans with each new project and effortlessly sliding into new sub-genres. In 2020 Kieran (Disrupta) released his Deep Thoughts EP on Liquid V, a four track release that saw him explore a deeper, more musical side, in 2021 we now welcome him onto V Recordings for the next step in his journey.

The Changes EP is a four track project that spans across a selection of sub-genres whilst all being glued by the ‘Disrupta’ sound. The title track features Manchester vocalist DRS, a musician who needs little introduction and has worked with artists such as Children Of Zeus, dBridge and Marcus Intalex to name a few. ‘Wireless’ is a track sure to be on rotation when clubs back open, ’Tequila’ with J Select sees him delve even deeper into his tech side, and the project goes in full circle with ’Play It Cool’ falling into the same liquid vein as the title track.

We’re looking forward to seeing where Disrupta goes next as his musical pallet continues to develop, if this EP is anything to go by the experimentation is far from done.

Its 2017, so odds are even your grandmother has a budding career as a producer/DJ. With so much noise to sift through, you need to sit down and enjoy the selection soulful and sexy-smooth collaborations from Satl & Anthony Kasper. Netherlands transplant and certified bad man, Satl teams up with Fokuz veteran Kasper once again for this three track EP that began all the way back in rural Poland in 2016. Following up their previous successes - like Mr. Funky, Sky Turns Black, and In The Sun - is no easy task, but we think that’s just what they have done. The Sit Down EP is out November 13th 2017.

This is yet another addition to the SINE download Series from a name you have likely not heard of yet. Despite having only self released a couple of tunes through his Soundcloud to date, we are expecting big movements from Brighton-based producer Kin:etic. Essence is a crystal-clear liquid roller, with smooth vocal snippets and growling basslines that supply sheer driving energy through its four-minute duration. With a forthcoming feature on a major drum and bass promo channel, we have a feeling this one will go down a storm amongst liquid fans and beyond.

Villem & McLeod return to Samurai Red Seal for another outing to follow their successful pairing on 'Hush' for the label in 2012 which was part of one of the labels biggest 12"s ever.
