Formerly one half of Gold selling Canadian duo McMaster & James, Luke McMaster cut his teeth with some of the biggest acts of the day, including sharing the stage with Randy Bachman, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and more. An in-demand songwriter with multiple credits and collaborations with such global superstars as Rihanna, Luke has returned to his performing roots as a solo artist. Heavily influenced by such icons as Al Green, Hall & Oates and Marvin Gaye, Luke's first solo album ALL ROADS was released by EMI/UMG in January 2013, as a "Romantic but powerful collection of new originals and covers of all time classic love songs, in a contemporary tribute to Blue Eyed Soul and early Motown". It included Luke's smash hit Good Morning Beautiful (feat. Jim Brickman), that successfully vaulted to #3 on the Billboard AC Radio Charts across the USA.

Luke's new project, ICONS OF SOUL uniquely marries contemporary songwriting with legendary hit songwriters.  The album will feature both new co-writes with iconic Motown songwriters including Grammy Award Winner Felix Cavaliere of The Rascals (Groovin’, Good Lovin) and Lamont Dozier (20 Top 10 hits including 13 in a row for The Supremes! Stop! In the Name of Love, Baby, I Need Your Lovin’) and more as well as fresh covers of some of these classic writer’s greatest hits.  Old School Meets New School in R&B.
