Perpetual Present Presents It’s A Boba 

As an artist nothing is better than getting a nice surprise weather it be a nice comment on a track, a personnel message about the music you make and DJ’s playing ya tunes. But when someone does a full mix of some of ya tracks it’s very humbling, last week Perpetual Present done just this, out the blue sent me this sweet mix “It’s A Boba”. I am a big fan of Perpetual Present aka Ron Escobar productions and he’s live DJ shows, an artist never afraid to experiment with the Breakbeat genre and the live shows are always an epic spectacle of music & entertainment so I was very honoured that he took some timeout to do this mix. This mix is perfect as it’s a bit of a goodbye to these productions as I am about to unleash a swarm of new music that I have been working on, the mix is perfect for a bar b q, working from home, train rides, take it on holiday or if you have never heard my music a nice introduction to this world. Just want to say big thanks to Perpetual Present for reminding me of some of these beauty’s, much appreciated amigo.

Also we want you to know that UN Breakscast Series will be streaming alive on Break Beat Zone Radio Station on a bi-weekly or a 1-monthly basis .

The special guest of this episode is Roman Specifik - electronic music producer and DJ from Russia who creates melodic electronic dance music that combines broken rhythms, deep basses and melancholic melodies. His work is a unique combination of diverse elements aggregated in vibrant and atmospheric sound stories.

Specifik started his DJ career in the late 90s. As a music producer he has been attempts to write tracks "in the table" since 2005, but due to a number of reasons, Specifik returned to writing music only in 2020. His first EP was released on Capital Heaven in early 2022.

Usually Specifik makes his tracks in the Electronica, Breaks and Progressive house genres. For the moment his music has been released on a couple of labels such as Calligraphy Recordings, Close Your Eyes, Future Avenue, EMOTIONAL CONTENT RECORDINGS, Xclubsive Recordings, Spektra Recordings, Melodic Beats Recordings, Sound Avenue.

Revive 082 With Retroid And Parallax Breakz (03-17-2016)

I used to stream on MixLR live a lot. This set is one of my live sets from 2011. Although I mostly mix on CDJs now I think my best mixes were always done in Ableton Live using an APC 40 MPK as I did with this set. My BPM has also dropped in my old age, but this set is a faster 131 or 132 I would guess. The track selection is one of my best in my humble opinion. It's all killer and no filler. It still holds up many years on...and on .. and on...and on...
