4 solid House cuts from Love Not Money's latest signing Sebb Aston here, an artist who's music has been causing a stir on the terrace of DC10 this summer and currently being championed by the likes of Jamie Jones & Eats Everything.

Sebb kicks off the EP with the peak-time production of 'Love Somebody Else', a track that sounds un-like anything else you've heard in recent times with it's own identity that instantly grabs your attention from the get-go by intelligently weaving a series of melodic riff's around the infectious, somewhat completely original bass sound. Sit that underneath a swinging drum pattern, anthemic piano chords and infectious vocal hook and you have a track that has the potential to encapsulate an audience and be one of the standout tracks of the summer. 

On remix duties label boss Luke Pompey gets in on the action with his 'Tab of Acid Mix', a slightly more underground approach that fuses together main-room sounds with elements of Acid House, contributed to by the use of the classic Roland TB-303 creating a hypnotic synth line that works it's way across the back-bone of the track. Add that to a heavy Old Skool Jackin' bassline and subtle use of the piano stabs and you've got a re-work fit for the later hours and more discerning dance floors.

With remaining tracks 'Together Tonight', 'Nobody' & 'In Love With You', Sebb demonstrates the ease with which he travels across the spectrum's of music, taking pinches of inspiration from House, Hip Hop & Soul. Each track here is a crowd pleaser and rings true of Sebb asserting himself as an artist brimming with vision, confidence and ambition.

Leeds based DJ & producer Luke Pompey, is a long standing friend of Connected.
He has played for us in London on a couple of occasions, inc @ Fire & Lightbox and not forgetting when his record label 'Love Not Money' hosted the red room for us @ Cable LDN.

Luke has been around the block & back again, since his early days, as a resident for Leeds' legendary Kissdafunk night to deep house slots all around the UK.

This mix is a nod to the infamous set he played at Connected back in 2011, deep underground house music at its finest.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Leeds based DJ & Love Not Money Records owner Luke Pompey has experienced a lot in that time. He graced the decks at Ibizan super club Cream, Amnesia at just 18 years old then 2 years later supported Tiesto when Galaxy FM invited him to play Privilege. He's played to crowds in excess of 10,000+ alongside the biggest names in the industry, had his productions supported by the likes of Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Erick Morillo, Soul Clap and Pete Tong who featured both his remix of Dennis Ferrer's "Hey Hey" and Real Nice & Cubiq's 'Had Enough' on the Radio 1 essential selection.

Residing in Leeds, home to the UK's most vibrant clubbing scenes, he’s held a long standing residency at the cities most established club, Mint Club. Playing for Mint has offered some amazing opportunities playing back2back with both The Martinez Brothers & Style of Eye and touring various brands at Festivals such as Glade, Glastonbury, Creamfields & Secret Garden Party.

As owner of 'Love Not Money Records', in a short space of time he turned the label in to one of the House scenes most talked about new music outputs. Since launching late 2011 the label found its feet among the dance elite. Releasing over 200 tracks from the likes of Hot Since 82, Darius Syrossian, Max Chapman and Robert James.
