French producer and multi-disciplinary artist Angel shares this groovy and deep dub techno mix recorded from her home in Berlin with fresh materials from her new EP as well as artists she enjoyed in deep and dub techno.
Born in France, but now a resident in Berlin, Angel began her music career in London where she handled music journalism and promotions for a small bar in the British capital. She then appeared as a DJ in Bali, Tokyo, Bangkok, then back to Europe in Paris, and more recently in Spain, following her travels. As a producer, Angel released the well-received EP “Coincidence/Ambivalence” last year on SLR and released last June 2022 her first dub techno EP "Sous l'eau" on the Stuttgart label, AMAS Studio.

Tha Noota - Dub Techno TV Podcast Series #89 [2022]

Tha Noota started her dj path during the pandemic in 2020. Her purpose was just to listen to her favourite music on a different level and to be able to create her own mixes. After 2 months of learning she got a chance to play in a local club in Olsztyn, where she is based. Since then she plays regularly in her hometown as well as in other polish cities, practicing her skills and widening selection. She's especially bonded with dub techno but she explores deep/hypnotic techno, ambient and house music too. Besides djing she's also actively involved in creating local electronic music scene, organising parties known as Feed Your Soul Events (https://www.facebook.com/feedyoursoulevents). Her aim is to bring less popular music genres, like ambient or experimental, to the small city of Olsztyn. In the mix for DTTV she highlighted some of her favourite tracks from the past 2 years.

Later, he focused on psychedelic trance. For the last 20 years he has concentrated on techno, progressive house and dub techno. He has been working as a producer for a year now.

Manny Evans is a Producer/Remixer on the Solar Phenomena label. His original tracks and frequent remix collaborations need no introduction. Originally from the Bay Area, San Francisco California. Manny spent many years in the iconic San Francisco Electronic music scene as a DJ. Later on, Manny relocated to Philadelphia and evolved his music career from playing other people’s music to producing his own. His love and true roots has always been for the dance floor and he puts heavy emphasis on his productions to express that Feeling. Manny has aligned his talents with Solar Phenomena since 2020 with his first release "Solid State".

Manny Evans - Dub Techno TV Podcast Series #102

Field Records is to release a two-CD compilation of music from the label's artists old and new entitled simply, Collection. 

The first of three samplers features Acronym, Ben Buitendijk and Voiski. Acronym's track '16 Cygni' is a sci-fi bit of techno that is speedy, slick and intergalactic, whilst Ben Buitendijk offers up some Millsian, streamlined techno urgency with his 'Colourblind' and finally Voiski gets all elastic and industrial tinged with his whip lashing effort.

We are incredibly happy to share this recording with you courtesy of one of our ultimate favorites, Claudio PRC. This 5h techno marathon was recorded at beautiful Masada in Milano at the Acquario party in April this year. 

This is what Claudio said about the Acquario collective and his relationship with them: “For me, Acquario has always been one of the most awaited and exciting dates of the year. Over time with the team we have established a very strong relationship of love and respect and the location of Masada is a truly magical place considering the fact that it takes place during the day and the crowd is among the most warm-hearted and receptive in Italy.
