Placid's We're Going Deep label is back with its third various artist edition simply going by the name of the label itself. Volume 3 brings together artists and music from  Moy, Rekab, Moody Waters and Smart Bar resident Garrett David, who delivers a heartwarming deep (House) cut perfectly made for those moments when the sun sets into the ocean and the blue hour is rung in. Cruisin Thru, the title of Garrett David's EP contribution, comes in with a satisfying lush  bass line which bristles with funky yet deep chord sequences that create an uplifting vibe that can either lead over to monumental peak time moment or keep the momentun with its irresistable groove. However, one implements the take into a set, the crowd will definitely vibe with it.

Absolutely smashing stuff from the Glaswegian hotshot here, taken from an EP of 3 tracks with identical drum tracks but a variation of chopped up samples on each. 'Part II' is our favourite, the garage-inflected rhythm peppered with a springy bass funk groove and disorientating Rhodesy chord patterns. Pure groove.

I went out for drinks with this girl from Tinder a while back. She was cool… until she wouldn't stop talking about Fred Again being “the best DJ to ever walk the earth” (no shade Fred). I eventually say “I actually make music too, we could go to mine and I’ll show u a little.”

We get to my place and I ask her fav (non Fred Again) song. She says “that new Jack Harlow one.” I rip the acapella and drop it in Ableton.

10 minutes in she puts her hand on my leg and goes "wanna watch a movie?” I said “nah papi’s cookin rn.”

She left. I stayed up all night cookin. When I sent it to her the next morning she replied “u literally picked making untz untz music instead of me

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱-𝗜𝗻 returns with another strong wax, this time welcoming 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿 under his 𝗙𝗦𝗞𝟮𝟰 alias. A true architect of the French underground, Carrier has spent decades shaping house and minimal through countless projects and collaborations. Here, he channels that experience into Peace Pack, an EP that stands as a perfect meeting point between the label’s hypnotic, stripped back aesthetic and the artist's own groove-charged spirit.

The title track “Peace Pack” opens with an immediate pull toward the dancefloor with its swingy drums and nimble bassline that lock together in a irresistible motion. Around this tight foundation, ghostly synths drift like metal sheets bending in the air, brushing the groove with a subtle melancholic edge. Playful electronic blips scatter throughout the track, bending and morphing like drops of liquid mercury, giving the track both mystery and charm.
