After reaching the golden target of 100 releases, Clarisse go back over relatively new ground and get Mendo's mid-year 'Diva' to mingle with Proudly People. Italian duo di Natale and Cosentino mark the PP brand with some pedigree, a residency at Sankeys in Ibiza but one step they've made across the globe, and with Moon Harbour, Elrow, Magna Carta and Resonance Records taking up a prime position for the pair's direct mission statement of making music with 'plenty of groove' and 'performing for hot dancefloors'.

As luck would have it 'Diva' and Proudly People get on like a house on fire. The remix brings an infectious bassline wiggle changing the steps of Mendo bossing all before him, percussion that skips, swings, twitters and filters, and the carrying over of that central dash of hip-hop encouragement ensuring there are no false starts once the stylus starts lowering. Also leaving the original's snipp ets of feminine vocal unchecked, again carefully programmed to converge from far and wide until the masses are going nose to nose with the DJ booth, Proudly People streamline Mendo's all-consuming source material, wipe away all the steam and river of sweat while staying in high gear, and keep 'Diva' walking tall.
