This Saturday Dutch National Opera & Ballet holds its Open House where you can get a look behind the curtain and they asked me to make a short piece of music to accompany a video for the Costume Storage department of the Production Workshop. A few months ago I visited a performance of Jiří Kylián's Wings Of Wax and was quite moved by a segment that futured music by Philip Glass (String Quartet no. 5). I wanted to incorporate this memory into the piece, so I took a short sample and built the rest around it. Since there's no way to hear it unless you attend the Open House, I've put it up here.
