Through muted melodic undertones, Russian craft and Spanish flair take a harmonious voyage across prairie province as Mango and Gullen visualise "Manitoba" in sonic form. Windswept landscapes reveal abstract patterns across fields of corn, sunlit in glorious autumn technicolour. Whispering vocal phrases catch on the cool air, drifting in reverberating sound waves.

Above and beyond, UK vision finds a pulsating edge in Marsh. Rasping bass pulses in waves across a golden glow. A sonic path forged within a mountain of glacial calm. Simple motifs vie for attention against soft vocal touches, harmonies filter out across the distance in arpeggio driven bliss; the mountain flora ripples under light breeze.

Looking out over Brighton peer, Sinerider envisions "Manitoba" landscape. Sweeping textures create a world of majestic solitude – ethereal in nature, haunting by design. Disparate motifs rise and drop, barely heard as they tumble and fall against the cavernous reverb of a hard-edge mountainside, softened by the sonic washes that continue into eternity.

Reflecting, refracting, soaking up the waves "Manitoba" warms the soul.

Since launching in early 2016, the Explorations series returns for its fourth outing. Having previously welcomed artists such as Theo Kottis, Tontario, Modd and Luttrell to the label, ‘Anjunadeep Explorations 04’ introduces more new faces to the family.

Previously one-half of production duo Journeyman, Dom Furlonge makes his debut outing under his new Antic alias with EP opener ‘And I Pray’. Dom showcases his own vocals and distinctive production flair on this quirky club cut.

Our second track brings together the Bath-based duo Kotu and Munich’s Sam Goku on ‘Ascension’, blending a subtle rolling bassline with soaring strings and sparse piano to wonderful effect. A much sought after ID from recent Anjunadeep Editions from James Grant and Dom Donnelly.

Next up is emerging German talent Ben Böhmer with ‘Flug & Fall’. Ben fuses organic elements, vocal chanting and warm melodic grooves in this uplifting number.

Closing the EP, Melbourne’s GMJ and Matter debut with throwback progressive gem ‘Earthless’.

Nils Hoffmann is back on Poesie with another remix EP, Drift, with two originals alongside remixes by Ben Böhmer, Fanz Alice Stern and Kalipo.

First we have the title track, a groovy late night swing dripping with a juicy electric energy and a firm beat. Gritty swells burn through the mix as the bassline chugs and percussions boom out over a warm soundscape. 
Ben Böhmer’s remix lays the track out with a lighter and more playful mood, giving the track a chilly swing while still maintaining its warmth and presence. 

Franz Alice Stern takes the reigns of ‘Drift’, giving it a brooding, low down swing and with plenty of deep seeded grit. The track hits hard and hits heavy while its down-tempo groove balances the energy beautifully.  

‘Feathers’ enters the scene now, and with it a collection of rhythmic synth hits crowds the focus, giving it a wonderfully hectic and energetic tone while the percussions drive the beat home and give it power on the floor. 
Showing his production prowess, the German producer Kalipo takes ‘Feathers’ for a ride, giving the track massive pressure and movement while still maintaining what could be described as a delicate groove and relatively light atmosphere. It’s not until the jagged bassline rips when the track starts to show its more sinister side.
