Artist Info:
Gezender is the project from the São Paulo based artist Tiago Franco. Focusing in the acid and dark sounds of electronic music, Gezender naturally creates a path passing through techno, house and electro with fluidity and a repertoire not limited to one genre, but still remaining faithful to his characteristic vibe in his sets. His music has strong personality and is marked by influences from the beginning of electronic culture, mixed with a research based on contemporary music. With energetic basslines and fluid pads, the relationship between contemplation and tension emerges in his sets, provoking a mix of feelings. With the capacity of adapting himself to a dance floor, without losing his identity, his performance on stage is praiseworthy. Gezender is also the head of the party “Sangra Muta”, supporting the local LBBTQI+ electronic scene and hosting artists of great relevance from the electronic underground community in São Paulo and other cities like Florianópolis and Rio de Janeiro. As well, he is part of the artist collective “Mamba Negra”.  With four years of career, the artist played already in clubs all around Brazil and during August of 2018, he did his first international tour, passing by Saule, Lab.Oratory (Berghain), Egg London and Red Light Radio. In May of 2016, he released his first EP, “Spiritual Flesh” through Neurom Records, a german-french label. In September of 2017, Gezender released his second EP in DJ Hell’s emblematic label, Gigolo Records, this time in partnership with Moebiius and “OM” which had a remix from L_cio. The great repercussion led to a premiere in House Mag and an interview for the Miller Music column in MusicNonStop. In 2018, he released “Tantra”, his most recent EP, through Neurom Records, which consists of two original tracks and remixes from Teto Preto, Tessuto and Blancah. The EP was premiered in sites like Phouse and House Mag.
In 2019, Gezender made two tours in Europe and played at Trans Musicales (Rennes), Monster Queen (London), Pornceptual (Berlin), Trashera (Berlin), Cuir (Madrid), Kaiku (Helsinki), Lab Dance / Saule (Berlin), Le Station (Paris), Quantica Online (Lisbon), Threads Radio (London), Red Light Radio (Amsterdam) and Rinse FM (Paris) and more.
And in 2020, Gezender is working on his next release in Mamba Rec, with collaborations with Linn Da Quebrada and are getting ready for Whole Festival and Panorama Bar.
