'Firstly, I want to say a massive thank you to so many of you for supporting me on my musical journey so far. I am still trying to catch up with all the beautiful messages & tweets of support & encouragement whilst I have been (mainly) away for a couple of months. 

I am still juggling some big life-challenges and may be quite intermittent for a while longer but I have been working away in the background despite a reduced social media presence. 

Enough about that & onto the music!

This track is a kind of 'Trancey/Hip-Hop' type track.
When I wrote this several years ago I was having some turbulent times, so again, I felt it was appropriate to release it around about now... 

As some of you are aware, I have had and am still having some difficult times again recently, however I'd rather reflect that to you through my music, as I am not the only one in life who struggles or goes through difficult times of course. 

As I'd rather not bring you down with the 'why's & wherefores' (because no doubt you have enough on your plate already) or you just wanted to enjoy some music without feeling burdened by my problems... Then I can instead, give you an insight into my situation & how I feel sometimes, by sharing my past & current struggles with you, through the expression of sounds & images that I created during these times...

I hope that anyone else who needs to process difficult times at the moment can gain some peace & comfort through this instrumental that I created, knowing, you are not alone... and that it is okay to not be okay sometimes...

This is my new, and possibly final, album. I consider it the best work I've ever done and if I never make another album I would be happy to say that it all ended on this particular note.

Though I obviously have my own distinct sound and musical identity, I would say that major inspirations during my recording of this album would be David Bowie's Blackstar, Peter Gabriel's UP and Kate Bush's Ariel...at least in terms of all of those albums being eclectic studies in contrast and juxtaposition. Like those albums, each song has its own set of feelings and meanings and imagery...and I only hope that this album hits anywhere NEAR the level of artistry of those works. My goal is always to take the listener on a journey through dynamic peaks and valleys and leave them feeling well-traveled by the end of the experience. I want the experience to be impacting on deep emotional, intellectual and spiritual levels, and not just be aural wallpaper to serve as a mere backdrop.

I hope I have accomplished that goal, and I hope that people will take the time to actually LISTEN to this album...but that DOES take a certain level of commitment and an actual interest in music as art. If you have that, you may find this work gratifying. Many have said that it takes a couple listens to “get” what I do...and you may find that to be true as well.

I have made this album available on YouTube as a full album video with lyrics for free listening, as a free download on Noisetrade (link in comment below), and as a paid download on Bandcamp (also in comment below). I had planned on making some videos for some of these songs and to roll it out in a more commercial way, but given the times it seems wrong to me to do so. Above all else, I would would like my work to be heard and remembered. If something happens to me, I would like to know that people listened to and enjoyed my work on some level.

Listening to just one of my tunes tells you nothing about my creative approach, listening to ten of my tunes will still tell you very little, listen to a hundred of my tunes and the penny will start to drop, but it's only after hearing 500+ of my creations and collaborations that your eyes will widen in amazement! 
However, if you don't have unlimited eclectic taste none of that applies, and the reality is, who, in this world, is going to listen to every tune I've created, no one--if even one tune is heard from beginning to end it's a minor miracle, because sadly, there is a belief that unsigned means inferior, but I've heard enough tunes by the rest of you guys to know that's a myth, that's bullshit, we create some of the most inventive, authentic, imaginative tunes out there!
