Subreal is pleased to announce its sixth release, War Bride (SR006) from label co-founder Amazondotcom. 


Amazondotcom returns from a hiatus with a new 5-track EP, full of sonic and emotional dimensionality. In this work, she continues her ongoing investigations into twisting rhythms, deep sub-bass, heavy percussion, and the intertwining of organic and synthetic sound design. 


According to the producer, she worked with longer, but often simpler, loops to fill repetitive time with variation, which was reflective of her own personal time during production. She began these tracks with the “simple idea that small feelings and perceptions can scatter and morph across time, taking on their own narratives and life forces. This can happen melodically, rhythmically, in dance, and in personal and/or political experiences.” 


Amazondotcom is a music producer based in Los Angeles and one of the founders of electronic music label Subreal. Her first solo EP, Mirror River, was released in 2019.

Astraltopia is the third and final compilation in the Topia series, as well as the terminal release in the Astral Plane Recordings catalog. Made up of contributions from longtime APR artists and friends, Astraltopia traverses outgrowths of past label releases, novel sonic formulations and the infra-zones between and underneath extant club sounds. EN: Luksja Sound Premium is this time taken over by Entrañas, an young music producer and DJ from Quito, the capital city of Ecuador. His sound work is characterized by exploring and transforming Latin American music and its different rhythms, merging them with ambient, grime, and the darkness of the club. He creates music that strongly manifests his Latin identity and is distinguished by huge drums, rich textures, deep basses and dark hypnotic melodies. His track "Oetapaz" was one of the biggest club killers and we played it in most of our sets last summer, so we're doubly grateful that he accepted our invitation.

This is the second mix, in which we give space to foreign producers and DJ-s. We want to promote club phenomena from different places in the world, show sound diversity and introduce unique genres located in centres outside Western-Europe-centric universe.

PL: Luksjowe pasmo przejmuje tym razem Entrañas, młody DJ i producent pochodzący z Quito, stolicy Ekwadoru. Jego twórczość charakteryzuje się eksploracją i przekształcaniem wielu latynoamerykańskich gatunków, mieszając je z ambientem, grime'em oraz mroczną stroną muzyki klubowej. Potężne bębny, bogate tekstury, głęboki bass i mroczne hipnotyzujące melodie - to znajdziemy w jego utworach i setach, które jednocześnie są bardzo silną manifestacją jego latynoskiej tożsamości. Jego numer "Oetapaz" był jednym z najmocniejszych klubowych bangerów, jakie mieliśmy przyjemność zagrać w trakcie imprez zeszłego lata, więc jesteśmy podwójnie wdzięczni, że przyjął nasze zaproszenie.

To drugi miks, w którym oddajemy przestrzeń w ręce zagranicznych osób producenckich i dj-skich. Chcemy promować klubowe zjawiska z różnych miejsc na świecie, pokazywać różnorodność dźwięków oraz przybliżać unikalne gatunki zlokalizowane w ośrodkach poza zachodnio-europejsko-centrycznym uniwersum.
