When recording lullabies for babies there are many considerations such as pitch, rhythm, instrumentation, tempo and harmony that should be factored in due to the sensitive hearing of infants. The Wheels On The Bus

We were challenged to record a UK version of the popular Alphabet Song that has helped countless children to learn the alphabet over the years.  As the Americanised classic version pronounces the final letter as 'Zee' instead of 'Zed' many English children have found this confusing.  The song uses the 'Vee' sound to rhyme with 'Zee' and we therefore needed to come up with a way to rhyme the final sound 'Zed' in the UK version.  Take a listen to see how we did it!

I'm an ex singer-songwriter from York, UK. I started Lullaby Babies in 2005 after I wanted a change from life on the road. In addition to a few original signals, I recorded several albums for babies and young children in my home in York using acoustic instruments- everything you hear on the tracks is played by me. I have since had another career change and I'm now training to be a clinical psychologist. I sold the retail arm of Lullaby Babies, but the music side still belongs to me. 

I'm afraid they'll be no new albums so please enjoy what I've recorded already- I guess you could call them limited edition!
