When I created this song I was deeply depressed. While I wrote the words,, the tears were streaming down my face, falling onto the piece of paper I used to scribble down the lyrics with my shaky hand. 

The song tells the story of a woman who can't seem to find any positive aspects about her life anymore and eventually decides to put it to an end. But while she is standing right on the edge of a cliff she realizes that there are so many things worth living for. And after all she makes peace with herself. 

With this song I want to raise awareness for depression as a serious topic. It's no wonder that in our often cruel and unfair world, shaken by the climate crisis and wars all around the planet, it's hard to stay positive.
That's why it's super important to TALK about depression and TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. Then find support, surround yourself with good people and things that make you happy. Take time. It's okay not to be okay.
