For this first part of the series of podcasts on Teewave Records, we have the pleasure to welcome an iconic dj and producer, who is none other than LULU. 

Co-founder of Unity Paris, LULU is a reference of the Parisian techno scene in terms of industrial techno. Through his dark musical universe, and his brutal rhythms, LULU has been able to impose himself as an essential artist of the French techno scene. 

Inspired by his recent trip to Berlin, LULU offers us today 1h10 of set centered on frenzied industrial techno, thus realizing a return to the sources echoing his original artistic fiber.

To indistrial techno from Gabber, I tried mix atmospheric phases and strong kicks, with sophisticated melody.

Many inspirations, a lot of work.. I am still learning to produce techno music and I wanted to share it with you because I am proud of it and I think you'll enjoy few tracks of this EP

While looking for sounds on Youtube, I came across the "Legend b - Lost in love" sound, I loved it, normal ahah, except that for me it lacked a lot of punch, and size, that's why, with all the respect I have for the original work, I allowed myself to make a rave edit, adding a more punchy kick, drums, pads, ambiences, and a speech about the place of women in the world.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Lulu. The emerging Parisian artist is inspired by old school rave sounds and more singular styles such as rap, dubstep and and rock. He now brings us, Interversion (KTK Records), a 3 track EP where his influences can be easily discerned. 'Wake Up It's Your Time' incorporates groovy but ghetto vocals, while the next two tracks bring us back to the roots of the rave sound. The EP is completed by a legendary remix by the timeless icon Mark EG, who became famous beyond the borders of Britain with his interest in so many different styles of electronic music. Lulu’s amalgamation of sounds quickly caught our attention and Interversion takes different genres outside the box to combine for a fresh and exciting release. www.thebrvtalist.com/luluwakeupitsyourtime/
