"The warm-up slot has always been a setting that feels natural to me.
I have been a resident at Phonotheque since my years living in Uruguay up until 2017 (and I still proudly hold that residency today). Back then, playing on rotation across all time slots gave me the chance to experiment and grow as an artist. Later, in 2019, after moving to Europe, I also became a resident at Cartulis, and this ongoing rotation of slots has continued to this day in both residencies.

Playing at a club like Fold is both a luxury and a rare comfort, something that makes everything flow more easily and enjoyably.
This set is a memory of a very special night, recorded on January 28th, 2023. I opened the night, followed by Radioactive Man, Nicolas Lutz, Unai Trotti, Vass, and Walrus." Z@p

We had to choose a movie and try to capture its mood through records. This is my interpretation of the movie The Beach.

Gesaffelstein's 'Variations' EP set an all-time record for feedback at Turbo. For a new artist to attract that kind of attention from such a broad cross-section of DJs is extremely special and a clear sign that he's tapped in to something very, very big. To the younger generation of clubbers and DJs for whom the funtastic era of 2001-2003 revivalism was a missed experience, Gesaffelstein represents a double-breasted jacket of nostalgia for everything from the power of Industrial and 80s New Wave to the Gigolo-glam of early Kittin & the Hacker, Steril, Vitalic, Fixmer, and yes, Tiga.
 
We have no hesitation in declaring that he has single-handedly updated an entire genre, sharpened the edges, and notably traded in the camp and pastiche that made Electroclash a dirty word for a refined and stylish simplicity. The breakdowns are massive and very French, but never out of order. These are futuristic party bombs which skillfully draw from our favourite dance music of the last 30 years... and add more cowbell!

After a very welcomed first release on our imprint the two producers from Marseille Prince de Takicardie & Welwert teams up again under their Signal Phantasm moniker. Reflecting their generation as children of the 90's and the technological revolution, this LP is a tribute to retrofuturism, pop culture and the aestethic of those years which define them so well. 

Body-moving, this solid 8-tracker shows a large scale of influences into dance music, making it the ultimate tool for DJs. This is an aventure in techno styles, a return to the future following steps of the ancients, drawing into their love for machines like the Sega, Atari 8Bit sounds, and all those retro crazy gadgets.
